00:00The clubs from the A and B series of the Brazilian Championship approved this Monday, in a meeting with the CBF,
00:07new refereeing guidelines, new rules for the remainder of the season,
00:10which will be valid starting from the next round of the Championship and also in the next knockout round of the Cup.
00:16Brazil.
00:17In addition to the eight seconds the goalkeeper has the ball in his hands,
00:20If he exceeds that time limit, a corner kick will be awarded to the opponent, as we have already been observing in the Brazilian Championship.
00:26Five seconds for a throw-in. The count starts from the moment the player catches the ball.
00:32If this limit is exceeded, a reversal will be triggered.
00:35Five seconds are allowed for a goal kick. If the time limit is exceeded, a corner kick will be awarded to the opposing team.
00:41Ten seconds for the substituted player to leave the field. He must leave via the nearest exit point.
00:46And the substitute, in the event that the player exceeds that limit, must also stay off the field for one minute.
00:52Regarding medical attention: One minute outside the field for the athlete receiving medical attention.
00:59In the case of the goalkeeper, this is something that has been generating a lot of debate.
01:02If the goalkeeper requires medical attention, the outfield player must remain out of the game for one minute.
01:06And the goalkeeper will be questioned, the referee will ask him if he needs medical attention or not.
01:11If he needs medical attention, the coach or captain will indicate to the referee who will leave the field.
01:18Other changes as well. No more throwing cakes at the referee.
01:21Only the captain may speak to the match referee to avoid confusion during the matches.
01:27The Vini Júnior protocol, something we saw at the World Cup, will also be adopted.
01:31The player who covers their mouth during an argument or conversation with an opponent, or indeed at any point in the game,
01:37He will be sent off, he will receive a red card.
01:39And VAR will now also be able to review the application of the second yellow card that would result in a sending-off.
01:44He will not intervene on the first yellow card, but if he feels the second one was an excessive punishment,
01:50You may then request or recommend a review by the arbitrator.
01:54Another important point, but only for 2027,
01:58It will be a review of corner kicks, something we also saw in the World Cup.
02:03And since the CBF's current goal is to get matches to have more playing time,
02:08It wasn't implemented at this initial stage, largely because it needed to be put on hold.
02:13and the technology is not yet adequate.
02:16And all this from the CBF meeting with the clubs from the A and B series of the Brazilian Championship,
02:21You can follow it on the Lance website.
