00:04Kindness means to me the person who can step into the shoes of another, who can
00:10feel and attune to what that person is feeling and then offer a helping hand if
00:17they need it. I've experienced a lot of kindness in my life from my midwife going
00:23above and beyond when I was giving birth to my two children. My husband is
00:28incredibly kind. I consider myself very very lucky to have had the support that
00:34I've had in my life and I'm very grateful for it and I always look to pay it
00:39forward. The kind act that I'm going to commit to sometimes is actually just a
00:44smile if I'm on my bicycle cycling into London and I see there was an elderly
00:48gentleman just the other day and I just gave him a big grin and he returned it
00:51and you think oh god we've missed that that's what we need. So the acts of
00:55kindness can be really really small they can be really really big and I've
00:59just written a book for parents and maybe that ties in because that's been a
01:04huge labour of love for me but it's an act of kindness to pass on some of the
01:08amazing expertise that I've been given by a number of professionals and I just
01:13want to share that with as many people as I can so maybe that's my big act of
01:17kindness.
