00:04I don't think kindness has to be a big grand gesture. To me, kindness is about doing something
00:09that you don't have to do to make somebody feel good or make their lives better. It can be a
00:15compliment. It can be acknowledging a good joke. It could be acknowledging a good quality. I think
00:20if you can do anything that makes someone else feel good, that is kind. I think encouraging
00:25people to be kind is a brilliant idea. It is one of the nicest, cheapest things we can do without
00:32hugely impacting on our own lives. And it's a choice. And sometimes we think, oh, I could let
00:37that person go in front of me on the supermarket, but I might not. Just be kind. Why not? Choose
00:42to
00:43be kind. One of the things that I am definitely going to do going forward is I'm always going to
00:48let the person behind me, if they've got fewer items, go in front of me in the supermarket queue.
00:52That is one act of kindness that I'm going to commit to. Hopefully it gives them back
00:57five minutes of their day. It makes their day go smoother and they might feel good. So that
01:02is one act of kindness that will cost me nothing other than a couple of minutes and hopefully
01:07it will improve somebody else's life.
