00:01Hi, I'm Amanda the Real Deal Serrano and you don't want to miss my fight July 11th at Madison Square
00:06Garden.
00:07And if you can't make it, make sure you watch it live on Netflix.
00:10Don't want to miss it, it's going to be a great night for female boxing.
00:13I am super proud to be a Boricua, super orgullosa.
00:17And it just gives me more energy, more force, more, more forza about just to go out there and fight
00:24with everything I have.
00:25It's hard being a woman, but I want to show women in the world, in this sport, that we can
00:30do anything we put our minds to.
00:32It is possible, anything is possible.
00:35And I just want to show young girls, young Latinas, no matter how you look, no matter where you come
00:40from,
00:40you can do anything you put your mind to.
00:42And it's just truly amazing and it's truly an honor to be a proud Latina.
00:47I am super excited for my fight July 11th.
00:50And it's going to rewrite history of women's boxing because it's the first time in history that Madison Square Garden
00:57is holding an all-female card.
00:59And the first one on Netflix.
01:01And it's a great show.
01:03We have two on the Spirit Championship fights and we have three unified bouts.
01:08And we have amazing talent.
01:09The best of the best is fighting each other, fighting that night.
01:13And it's going to showcase women's boxing.
01:17The first fight was a great fight between me and Katie.
01:20The second one was even better.
01:22And on a platform like Netflix that showcased our skills, showcased that women's fight.
01:28And just so many eyes and attention came from that fight, which gave us this spotlight and opportunity to have
01:34an all-girl card on this fight, July 11th.
01:37And it just, it changed women's boxing and, you know, Netflix decided, you know, these girls put on a show.
01:47Let's give them the opportunity.
01:48And it's going to just, it's going to be a great night.
01:53I'm truly honored to be the highest paid female athlete, not just in boxing.
01:57We've been paid nothing and now we're changing the game.
02:04Being a part of MVP, who definitely wants to help empower women and give them the opportunity and give them
02:09better paychecks.
02:10It's just a big turnaround for female boxing.
02:14And I think once they see that we're making this type of money, young girls in the sport, it gives
02:21them the motivation, the inspiration to want to become a professional boxer and continue to work hard and fight hard
02:27and say it's worth it at the end.
02:29Obviously the week of the fight is just maintaining the weight, just making sure that we, everything is just down
02:37-packed.
02:38But yeah, now it's coming down close to the end and it's hard.
02:43Every day is, it's hard training two to three times a day, six days a week.
02:48The day before the fight is just, it's the weigh-in and then it's just relaxing and just mentally preparing
02:54yourself.
02:55Leading up to the fight, it takes like weeks to get my outfits done, outfits ready.
03:00I get, I make sure I get a pedicure.
03:02My toes have to be red.
03:03It's been a superstitious for me and my sister for many, many years.
03:06So I get a pedicure and it's just relaxing and preparing for fight night.
