The increase and decrease of Faith and the Intercession.
Description: Is there hope for someone who lived a life of sin but kept a tiny spark of faith in their heart? In Sahih al-Bukhari 44, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) describes a scene from the Day of Judgment that highlights Allah’s overwhelming mercy toward the believers.
The Prophet (ﷺ) explains that Allah will command the angels to take out of the Hell-fire anyone who said, "La ilaha illa Allah" (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and had in their heart even the smallest weight of goodness (faith).

A Barley Corn: Faith weighing as much as a grain of barley.
A Wheat Kernel: Faith weighing as much as a grain of wheat.
A Tiny Atom/Dust Speck: Faith weighing as much as an atom (or the smallest possible particle).

Faith is Quantifiable: This Hadith is a primary proof that Iman increases and decreases. If it were a fixed, static thing, there wouldn't be different "weights" of faith mentioned by the Prophet (ﷺ).
The Power of Tawheed: The core requirement for salvation is the declaration of Monotheism. Even if a person’s actions were poor, that seed of "La ilaha illa Allah" is the ultimate lifeline.
Refutation of Extremism: This Hadith refutes the idea that committing major sins automatically makes one a disbeliever. If a person has an "atom's weight" of faith, they are still fundamentally a believer and will not stay in the Fire forever.
