FCRA & Delimitation Bills: Congress to Strongly Oppose? | Shashi Tharoor’s Big Statement
ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿತ FCRA ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಲಿಮಿಟೇಶನ್ ಮಸೂದೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸಂಸದ ಶಶಿ ತರೂರ್ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಸೂದೆಗಳು ಸಂಸತ್ತಿಗೆ ಬಂದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಅವುಗಳ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಪಠ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ತಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ನೋಡಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ, ಎರಡೂ ಮಸೂದೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಒಪ್ಪುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಮತ್ತು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲವಾಗಿ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಲು ಪಕ್ಷ ಬದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶಶಿ ತರೂರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor has expressed strong opposition to the proposed FCRA and Delimitation Bills.
Tharoor said that once the Bills are introduced, the Congress will examine their exact texts and decide the next course of action. However, based on what the party currently knows and has seen about the Bills, he stated that Congress is not prepared to agree to either of them and is committed to opposing them strongly.
