00:18where daily lives have been disrupted, safety has been compromised and in some cases,
00:24such as that of the Shahin II fishing boat, fates have become unknown. The Shahin II set sail from
00:31Iranian shores towards the Indian Ocean on May 5th, during the height of U.S.-Israeli aggression
00:38against Iran. As it passed near Muscat, the crew contacted Iran's shipping authorities in a state
00:44of fear, reporting that an American helicopter was flying overhead. After that call, the boat went
00:52missing. There has been no sign of its 16 Iranian and one Pakistani sailor since then. The families
01:00of the missing sailors have been demanding answers, not only from Iranian authorities,
01:06but also from international bodies. They say the U.S. military should be held accountable
01:12due to the circumstances of the vessel's disappearance. It remains unclear whether the
01:18U.S. military has abducted these sailors or killed them, as it has done to thousands of Iranian civilians
01:25since the war began.
