00:00This may be one of the most remarkable love stories you'll ever hear. A Kentucky couple is
00:05preparing to get married more than 20 years after a tragic act of loss brought their families
00:10together. When Brooklyn Dotson was just a toddler, doctors told her family that she had only days to
00:16live because of a rare liver disease. Well, her life was saved by a liver transplant. The miracle
00:22organ was donated by a boy who was killed after being hit by a car, 10-year-old Michael Waters.
00:27Even at that young age, Michael had told his family that he wanted to be an organ donor,
00:32and his parents honored that wish. Years later, Brooklyn formed a friendship with Michael's
00:37younger brother, Noah. That friendship turned into a romance, and now the two are set to marry
00:42this September. Noah says he never could have imagined that his brother would one day save
00:47the life of the woman he would marry. And for Brooklyn, she says every day she gets to live
00:51is a reminder of the gift that Michael gave her, a gift that ultimately led her to the love of
00:56her
00:56life.
