01:16Vous n'avez jamais vu quelque chose.
01:29Et c'est part of what I think is so brilliant about Christian is he doesn't try and give you
01:37the answer.
01:38He wants you to think for yourself.
01:41He wants you to make those projections onto them, whether you think they did or you didn't,
01:46and then make your own and then be able to face that within yourself.
01:50Because that's what happens, right?
01:55It's discrimination and it can happen at a very subtle level, too.
01:59You know, everyone has, they're projecting their own past and experience.
02:03You're looking at somebody and maybe they don't smile enough and you go, oh, they're this, right?
02:09How do you know?
02:11It's like, so that's kind of what I love about the films that he makes and our film.
02:18It's just, I think you have to go and experience the movie and then make, and then answer that question
02:24for yourself.
02:25When we shot this film, I mean, we were always together, all of us, the company and everything.
02:30And I definitely believe that influenced a lot of how, a lot of went into the movie because of that.
02:37There's a real closeness that way.
02:39The bigger stuff, things are more divided, you know?
02:42And it feels like sometimes not, it really still depends on the director,
02:48to communicate and keep all the departments on the same page.
02:52Because every department's focusing on doing a good job as best as they can,
02:56but it's not always kind of cohesive like that.
03:00I really love working with something physical and to have, because they also live such different
03:07lives than I do, you can also play around with the detail of the physicality.
03:13And that was, that was great.
03:16But it's definitely something explosive inside that has to be contained.
03:21But that says so much about their life and the situation they're in.
03:24So it's, it was an important part of it.
03:28A lot of it felt like going against your instincts, you know?
03:31But, but, but I don't know, something happened when we put everything on,
03:35when everything goes on and everything, you change and, you know,
03:39you sort of become these people in a way by the end.
03:41So that's what we did.
03:43Hello children, welcome to our school and to our country, I could say.
03:47Hi, I'm Laura.
03:48Hi.
03:49I understand that you came all the way from Romania.
03:52But my wife is Norwegian, so.
03:54They seem so happy here.
03:56And they wanted so much with Nora.
03:59Why don't you let Emma and Elia come for my birthday?
04:02Because they're punished.
04:03What are you doing here?
04:05We're five, unless there's some discipline now.
04:10Hello, familia.
04:12You decide to wish them one?
