00:00What do you realistically believe that Jefferson Rojas can become at the major league level and what must happen for
00:05him to reach the best version of that outcome?
00:08You know, when I'm looking at the guys that you could get rid of and the value, you know, Rojas,
00:14the upside is that Rojas figures out the little things and that the hits keep coming and then he becomes
00:20a, you know, a power hitting third baseman or corner outfielder for the Mets for a long time, right?
00:27And he's got the talent to do that, you know, a potential like everyday type of, you know, maybe 30
00:35home run guy.
00:37And then the downside is that maybe he's a Christopher Morrell type who comes up to the big leagues and
00:45can hit, but, you know, the defensive part of it and the little things start to kind of chip away
00:52at your ability to play him.
00:54Um, you know, it's like when Kyle Schwarber was, was with the Cubs playing defense, you know, sometimes it was
00:59an adventure, but as long as you knock in more than you let in, you know, you're still in the
01:03plus.
01:04And so I guess the downside would be, you know, maybe he's one of those guys that he, he hits,
01:09but he, he makes so many mistakes that you're like, well, you know, the, the mental part of the game
01:14is, is, uh, keeping him down.
01:16So I think at a, at the top level, I could see him being an all-star third baseman and,
01:21um, you know, a basher.
01:23And then maybe at the downside, he's kind of like Morrell where you look at, he's got all the physical
01:28tools and the ability, but he's not able to put it together.
