00:00For three decades, the bulls and the bears were being killed by human jealousy against a fellow human being.
00:07Not violence specifically towards another species, but jealousy towards one's own species.
00:12Bull baiting and bear baiting, it was only that that was outlawed.
00:17The argument that was given was, well, we kind of admit that this is violent.
00:23Yes, we admit, but we still do not want this thing to be stopped.
00:27Why? Because this is pleasing the middle classes, the lower middle classes, the laborers, the factory workers.
00:34How can you be partial against the poor people?
00:38Why are you not outlawing, for example, fox hunting?
00:42Because the rich are coolly indulging and entertaining themselves.
00:46And that too is blood sport.
00:48Our behavior towards animals is only a screen that reflects how we inwardly are.
