00:05Topic for the afternoon is beautiful. Indian roots, global wings. When we say Indian roots,
00:13that sounds very nice to Indians. And usually the connotation is festivals, culture, food,
00:20music, aroma, and garments. And that's what we understand to be roots. But if we are talking
00:28of Indian roots, then it's better that the word root itself is defined in the Indian way. And in
00:36the Indian way, the word root does not refer that much to culture. It rather refers to clarity.
00:45It is about ruthless self-inquiry. Do I know myself? And then there is two words that follow
00:53global wings in a superficial way. Global wings might sound like ambition, expansion. But if the
01:02topic starts with India, even these two words, global wings, must mean something truly Indian.
01:11And in the Indian sense, it is not ambition that takes wings. One rather requires freedom to take
01:18wins. An ambition is not necessarily an expression of freedom. One could be inwardly quite caged. And yet
01:27externally, one could be flying business class to six continents. Real freedom lies in investigating
01:35yourself and seeing where your bondages are. The world already has enough of striving. What India can
01:42offer is something more and something beyond that. Thank you. Thank you, all of you.
