00:34scripture proverbs 3 5 and 6 and it says trust in the Lord with all thine heart lean not unto

00:48own understanding and all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct my past so the comforter
00:56who is the comforter the comforter is Christ okay so let's go read some scriptures on that let's go to
01:09second corinthians and second corinthians chapter 1 and verse 3 and 4 so we in second corinthians
01:26chapter 1 verse 3 and 4 and it says who comfort us all in all our tribulations that we may
01:35be able
01:36to comfort them which are in any trouble by the comfort where wherewith we ourselves are comforted
01:45of God for as the sufferings of Christ abound in us so our consolation also abounded by Christ so that's
01:57just talking about Christ and he's helping you and taking care of you in your need of trouble okay let's

02:22bless me God bless me God so we bless the most high when we say our prayers even the father

02:30Lord Jesus Christ and we bless Christ right the father of mercies the most high is the father of
02:39mercies and the God of all comfort and he is the God of all comfort okay all comfort even when

02:49he's not comforting you he is comforting you who comforted us in all our tribulations and all our
02:58tribulations things that we went through the most high was there to comfort us how do he comfort us
03:05with his spirit in this book the Bible okay them which are in them which are in any more trouble
03:17by the comforts wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God so this scripture is just saying we are
03:28comforted by God okay the most high comforts us and he gives us what we need when we need it

03:44he gives us what we need when we need it okay let's move on to John 14 and 18 let's

04:02John 14 and 18 says I will not leave you comfortless I will come to you that's a great a
04:24great scripture
04:25okay I will not leave you comfortless
04:29Christ said he will not leave you comfortless okay no matter what we're going through he's not going to lead

04:38comfortless comfortless he's going to find some way to comfort us to help us to make us feel better in
04:46what
04:46we're going through because no matter what we all are going to go through the trials the tribulations and the
04:54fire
04:54you're going to go through that okay I will come to you Christ said I will come to you
05:02okay let's move on psalms 94 and 19 let's go to it psalms 94 and 19
05:21psalms 94 and 19 says
05:31psalms 94 and 19 and it says in the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul
05:43okay your consolations okay your consolations let's read it again in the multitude of my thoughts
05:50within me thy comforts delight my soul why does the comforts delight your soul because Christ is comforting
05:59you he comforts us with this bible that's why we have his word to read when we're down about something
06:08or you're feeling sad about something he comforts us okay whenever we are down and
06:17going through something Christ is going to comfort you okay
06:23let's go on to the next one matthew 5 and 4 and i think this is one of my favorite

06:32matthew 5 and 4 and let's go to it
06:43matthew 5 and 4 and it says bless are they that mourn for they shall be comforted so
06:55when you're mourning and you're grieving over someone that passed away someone that died you know your
07:01mother your father your child your sister your brother whoever it is your friend okay the scriptures say
07:11that
07:12christ is comforting you and he is the comforter he comforts us with his word okay
07:19blessed are the poor no sorry blessed are they that mourn because we're mourning we're blessed
07:28but they shall be comforted we shall be comforting okay let's move on that's a good one let's move on

07:37john 16 and 17 let's move on to that one john 16 and 17 and it says
07:51then said some of his disciples among themselves what is that he said unto us a little while and ye
08:02shall not
08:03see me and again a little while and ye shall see me and because i go to the father to
08:12one another
08:13so in this scripture in john 16 and 17
08:20god is saying
08:23he goes for a little while and then he comes back he goes for a little while and then he
08:28comes back let's read it again
08:31okay because he comforts his disciples we are his disciples okay then said some of his disciples among
08:41themselves what is that what is this that he saith unto us a little while and ye shall not see
08:50me a little
08:51while we're not going to see christ and again a little while and you shall see me and then we're
08:58going to see
08:58christ and because i go to the father because christ christ goes to the father okay so this is how

09:07comforts us he comforts us in spirit with descriptions okay let's go stay in this chapter and let's go to

09:17john 14 and 26 john 14 and 26 says but the comforter which is the holy ghost whom the father
09:28will
09:29send in my name he shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever i have
09:38said unto you so this is christ speaking christ is saying but the comforter which is the holy ghost
09:47which is the holy spirit whom the father will send in my name okay the most high is going to
09:57send the
09:58the holy spirit in christ's name he shall teach you all things in the holy spirit is going to teach
10:07you all things in christ's name okay and bring all things to your remembrance and bring all things to
10:18your remembrance all things okay whatsoever i have said unto you whatever christ said to you he's gonna
10:27bring all of that to your remembrance okay the holy ghost is gonna bring all of that to your remembrance

10:39let's go to psalms 118 and five all right psalms 118 and five psalms 118 and five psalms 118 and

10:58and it says i call upon the lord in distress the lord answered me and set me in a large
11:10place okay
11:12so you have to praise the most high god you have to trust in the most high god okay let's
11:21read that
11:21again i call upon the lord in distress you are upset you just lost someone you love and you call
11:29on the most high in distress the lord answered me and set me in a large place the lord answered
11:38him
