00:07Well, to begin with, I look at the connections that his father-in-law, Chakaku Tayyib, has to brotherhood-linked
00:14groups.
00:14This includes being the president at one time of CARE Michigan, also his presence on the Islamic Society of North
00:21America Founders Committee,
00:23which is only for those most exclusively devoted to ISNA and provides significant amounts of funding.
00:29There are other known brotherhood members on that committee.
00:32I would also look at El-Sayed's ties to a group called M-Gage, which purports to be a Muslim
00:40sort of get-out-the-vote or candidate recruitment organization,
00:43but it has close ties to CARE.
00:46It was created by a former CARE member who at one time was on a terror watch list and was
00:51also a consultant to convicted terrorist Samuel Arion.
00:58Do you believe the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA, is an ongoing part of the Muslim Brotherhood network

01:08There were some HLF documents that reflected hesitation by the Brotherhood that they thought perhaps they were losing control of
01:15ISNA at one point,
01:16but they appear to have rectified that.
01:17As far as I can tell, there are still individuals associated with the Muslim Brotherhood who are in high leadership
01:24positions with that organization,
01:26and they have never repudiated their ties to the organization.
