00:27The first is for Omani confirmation that, indeed, we have an agreement.
00:34It had been agreed between the two that entry into the Strait of Homoz would be handled by the Iranians.
00:43That would be along that northern route through the Strait.
00:46There was an issue regarding the route for exit from the Strait, which would run along the Omani coast.
00:53Would that simply be overseen only by the Omanis?
00:56Would it be jointly overseen by the Iranians and the Omanis?
00:59Would the Omanis oversee it but inform the Iranians before, you know, while transit was being arranged?
01:06You know, it's getting a little bit technical in the details, but it was this question of exactly what would
01:11be the nature of the relationship between the two countries.
01:13So we wait to see if that is confirmed.
01:15Then the second issue is, have the Trump administration, albeit at a late point, been brought into those negotiations?
01:24And we have conflicting reports here as to whether or not Steve Witkoff, the real estate developer, has been involved.
01:29Or have the Americans only been informed of the negotiations?
01:34From an Iranian point of view, and they've just reiterated this in the foreign ministry,
01:39until they have clear confirmation that the Americans will accept the terms of the agreement as they are set out
01:46by Iran and Oman,
01:47they do not trust the Americans.
01:49They don't trust the Trump folks adhering to the deal, and they worry that they may try to undermine it.
