00:00I need to phone a friend. I need to call Sir Nick Jonas. This is literally my song
00:05and I should totally remember this. That's a hundred percent, right?
00:08Bang. Joe? Kevin? Anybody? Demi? Can I have some help on this one?
00:17Okay. Oh my gosh. No more hiding who I want to be. Wait. This is me. This is Demi
00:28Lovato singing this in Camp Rock 1. Am I right or am I wrong? I'm right. I'm right. Okay.
00:35This is... Wait. I know what this song is called. Is this song called This Is Me? This Is Real?
00:42Or This Is Real? This Is Me? This Is Me. Demi Lovato. Camp Rock 1.
00:47No more hiding who I want to be. This is me.
00:53Everybody has seen Camp Rock at some point in their life. I feel like it's like one of those
00:56movies that's just like embedded in your brain. I don't remember the first time I saw it. I probably
01:00saw it when I was like a wee lad. The time that I like actually remember was right before I
01:05went out
01:05to Vancouver to go film. I was like, okay, I got to rewatch these movies and actually remember
01:09everything. So I went in and I just did a little Camp Rock movie marathon and it was so fun.
01:14But I
01:14saw the movies probably when I was like back when they first came out. Okay. Oh my gosh. Another one.
01:20Come on. Raise your hands up in the air and scream. Come on. We're finding our voice.
01:27Following our dreams. Cause we rock. We rock. We rock on. This is We Rock.
01:34We're finding our voice. Following our dreams.
01:36In Camp Rock 3. But We Rock was originally from Camp Rock 1. Right? And it's an ensemble. It's
01:48everybody. I can't pick. I could list the whole cast. But like it's just an ensemble and it's
01:52from and it's called We Rock. When I first got the news that I was going to do Camp Rock
01:563. I was
01:57on tour. I was just kind of in shock. A in shock that they were doing another one and B
02:01in shock that
02:02I was like even able to be a part of it. Because I think, not I think, I know Camp
02:06Rock is a legacy.
02:08I think Camp Rock has like shaped so many people's childhoods. So I think the fact that I'm able
02:12to be a part of this like next generation of Camp Rockers is so fun. And so sick.
02:19Another one. I'm so excited. Okay.
02:23I eat cheese. But only on pizza. Please. And sometimes on a homemade quesadilla.
02:31Otherwise, it smells like feet to me. And I, I really like it when the moon looks like a toenail.
02:40I love the way you say my name. Come on. Introducing me. Shout out Nick Jonas. Camp Rock 2. Let's
02:50go.
02:51I eat cheese. But only on pizza. Please.
02:55Only the best stories with the JoBros. They're like, they are, they're so cool.
03:00Like just a cool presence. They're just like the coolest people. And they're so like, they're all so
03:06different, but they just go together. Like bread, peanut butter, and jelly. Cause there's three of
03:12them. That was good. That was good. No, they're awesome. And like, they're such dads now. I think
03:18that they could have so easily been very protective of their franchise. And I think they could have so
03:22easily been like, okay, like, all right. Like, and I'll just like kind of let them feed them to the
03:27wolves type of thing. But they really like opened us with just open arms and were able to be there
03:32for us. I won't forever say they're like big brothers to me now, which is so sick. And like kind
03:36of really freaky to say it like big bro, biggest bro, the three big bros, huh? If I decide I'm
03:43the
03:43girl to change the world, I can do it anytime opportunity right in front of me. And the choice
03:48is all mine. Come on. Rhyme. Rhyme rhymes with all of that. Cause it goes mine. Rhyme is stupid.
03:55I'm not going to say that any ever again. It's Demi. So I got Demi camp rock one. Don't know
04:00the name.
04:01Who will I be? Who will she be? Who am I? Who are all of us? Who are we? Who
04:07are we? We're just
04:08living and we're having fun. Okay. Got that one wrong. Definitely not pissed at all. Right? Right.
04:19Random little like crossover world that I have with Demi. My mom wrote one of her songs
04:24a while back called Nightingale.
04:31And so when I finally got the chance to meet Demi, I like walked up to her and I shook
04:36her hand and I
04:36told her that and she was like, and that is a crazy little like random thing. But yeah,
04:41my mom wrote that song about my dad and I walked out to meet Demi and say, hey, that song,
04:46you know,
04:47and you have. My mom wrote that. Oh my gosh. Another one. Variety. So, oh, she thinks no one get,
04:55she thinks no one gets it, but I do. Oh, that's so great. I know this song. This is my
05:00song. This is tomorrow.
05:02She thinks no one gets it, but I do. The highs and lows we both been through.
05:07The romance between Fletch and Sage, it's so cute and so wholesome. It's a camp romance. That's
05:14something that like every, every kid that's gone to campus felt is they're like, oh, I have my camp
05:19crush. And I think that it portrays it so well because it's like we're put in this scenario where
05:24we're like battling against each other for the final jam, but we also really like each other. And so it's
05:29like we're having to pick, like, are we following our emotions? Are we following our, what we want
05:33for our careers or like that type of thing? And working with Liamani was unreal. She's first off
05:38seeing circles around me. She's like absolutely unbelievable. Love her to death. She's so cool
05:43and so talented. Oh, bang, bang, bang, bang. Sorry. I just had to do that real quick. And every person
05:54that I found is a melody that sticks around. Echo. When it came to like prepping for the music side
06:07of
06:07this, because obviously the musical world is such a, it's a very musical world. I didn't have much of a
06:12singing background, but my, both my parents are music and my mom's a singer. My mom put me through
06:16like going into Zombies 4 and then even through this, it was like just singing bootcamp. Like,
06:21all right, like you're doing this. Like, let's, let's like actually lock down. Like we're sitting
06:25in front of the piano for hours. And so my mom just kind of drilled me through and I could
06:30always
06:30like hold a note and I could sing, but never like actually like wanted to in a way, like never,
06:36because I never had an outlet to, like I never had a reason to. I think the second I did,
06:39it was so
06:39fun. And I am like, it's so fun. Now I can just like sing, sing a song and it doesn't
06:44sound half bad.
06:45On tour, it was my first time like singing live too, which was fun singing in front of 15,000
06:51people
06:51live. You kind of have to lock in. And so I was like, all right, let's go. Don't get me
06:55wrong.
06:56I don't like confrontation. I'd rather we just all get along. Music should be undivided united.
07:05Wait, wait, I actually know this. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. I don't, I don't know.
07:13Oh, I see. I would have known that if I held the card. I just got too, I got too
07:17short. Sorry.
07:19Sorry. Wait, what was it? Can't back down from camp rock to don't get me wrong.
07:29I know the dance actually, it goes, we can't, we can't back down. It's like something like that.
07:35We can't, we can't back down. Honestly, dancing on Tik TOK was like, not my thing. Originally,
07:42it started when I filmed zombies for, uh, because it was the first musical I did. And I was like
07:47kind
07:47of forced to dance. And I honestly kind of fell in love with it. It was fun. And a couple
07:51of the
07:51guys, the dancers on zombies four were pretty big on Tik TOK. And so they were like teaching me all
07:55these dances. And I was like, Ooh, what renegade? What? Ah, like that type of stuff. And then it just
08:01like, I loved it. I fell in love with it. It was super fun. And then I really started like
08:04low-key
08:05kind of getting decent at dance when during camp rock. Say goodbye to all my fears. One good song,
08:14they disappear and nothing in the world could bring me down. I love this song. And then it goes,
08:21hand clapping, hip shaking, heartbreaking. There's no faking what you feel when you're on a roll camp
08:29rock one, but we do it in camp rock three. Play my music and it's everybody. It's an ensemble,
08:34but it's like in chunks.
08:40It was so much fun being able to put our own spin because I think that like we got handed
08:44a level of
08:45trust with this of like remaking a movie. I think that it'd be very easy for the production side of
08:53things to want to like have things set to a tee to like be like, okay, we have to do
08:56it this way to
08:57do this way to like perfectly portray it. But they really gave us some freedom with it. Shooting the
09:01ensemble numbers were so much fun because everybody finally got to be together. Cause I think
09:04that the storylines are kind of like, I never got to hang out with like certain people on set
09:09because we're just never filming together. And I think that's how any project is storylines go
09:12certain ways. I also wasn't able to be there for a lot of the rehearsal because I was on tour.
09:17And so when I came back, it was like ensemble numbers was the actual first time I had to like
09:21hang out with all the dancers and like really get to interact with them. And that was so much fun.
09:26Bang, bang, bang. We'll all be going separate ways. Say everything you didn't say. This is your
09:31moment before you go. Come on now, get up and show them. Sounds like a great song. It sounds like
09:37it
09:37reads like a great song. I know it's a good song.
09:49Wait, you know what's really annoying is Hasta La Vista is like my favorite song from all the
09:53other like the OG movies. And I hate that I didn't notice this. I'm a fake camp rock fan. I
10:01guess,
10:01I guess so. I guess so. I'm disappointed in myself. I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight because
10:05of
10:06that one.
