00:11Hello, I am Paul. I am at Sonosphere 2010.
00:16Hi, I am Gordon. We are in Young Legionnaire and we are also still at Sonosphere.
00:21Still here. Literally five seconds ago we were there and we're still here now.
00:25Sonosphere has been amazing. It's like a nice heavy festival for us to play and try our riffs out.
00:33It's been a lot of fun.
00:35We were expecting, Paul promised he was going to play some pinch harmonics for us,
00:39but being that we were at the big rock festival, he forgot to do it.
00:43Our drummer did do a few double kicks. Too many perhaps.
00:47Yeah, he had the double pedal out.
00:48But yeah, it was really good, really fun.
00:50Yeah, we're kind of, we're a three-piece band. We, you know, drums, bass, guitar, vocals, standards.
00:58Quite heavy, quite fast in places. A lot of riffs going on. Stuff that we kind of listen to.
01:05It's a rock band. In short. It is.
01:09A love of riffs. Yeah, I don't like, it is quite melodic.
01:12There's, you know, there's... Yeah, not just riffs, but hooks.
01:15Yeah. The thing is, when we started, all of us were fairly busy doing kind of other stuff.
01:22And so we kind of, at the time we were thinking, well, we'll get done what we can, when we
01:27can.
01:29And this year has transpired to be kind of semi-busy.
01:34So, we're finally now kind of, we've got a record written, pretty much.
01:38So we can start properly working on it.
01:40Yeah, we've got a good window of opportunity, I suppose, to like, sort the studio out.
01:46The sun is shining, it's time to make some hay.
01:47Yeah. I was in a band called Your Codename Is Milo, and we did a collaborations record.
01:52Called Print Is Dead. Print Is Dead, and we had a studio in Newcastle, and we had Block Party, Golden
01:59came up.
02:00Maxwell Park, Future Heads, a lot of different bands came to our studio.
02:04Some big names. Yeah, and the deal was, we'd get to the studio about 12 o'clock in the afternoon,
02:10and we'd write, record, and mix a song in like 12 hours, and then we'd put it out as a
02:17record.
02:18And after that experience, we did a track called Wait A Minute, and we always said that we should maybe
02:23do something like that.
02:24And it took about three or four years, I guess, after that.
02:28And then we kind of had a bit of time free, and started emailing some ideas about it.
02:34And then it just started to happen, we got a band together.
02:38Snowballed.
02:38Yeah.
02:39And now we're at Sonosphere, and in a couple of weeks we'll be in the studio.
02:42It's a reality, we're playing like big rock festers.
02:44Yeah.
02:45So, you know, you're going to live the dream.
02:46Yeah.
02:47Ben.
02:48Ben.
02:49Ben.
02:50Ben.
02:53Ben.
02:54Hey.
