00:01When we were at university, I had a crush on you.
00:06I felt the same.
00:09The problem is I fancy pretty much everyone.
00:18I really relate to the fact that she is a slow grower.
00:22And she's funny, and she's amazing, and she's a good friend, and she's beautiful.
00:28And I mean, there's so many reasons why you'd want to play Emma.
00:30You know, we've never actually met.
00:33Actually, we have. Several times.
00:34Oh, have we?
00:35You gatecrushed my birthday party, called me Julie, and spilled red wine down my top.
00:39Ouch.
00:40I liked him because, you know, he was a big personality.
00:43And it's nice to play someone who's not just a sort of generic leading man or whatever.
00:47You know, he's got flaws, he's got problems and complications.
00:51You're delightful.
00:52No, was I?
00:53No.
00:54Well, it's about two people who meet on the very last day of university just as they graduate.
00:57And they don't necessarily get on that well.
01:01There's a certain amount of spikiness between them, but there's also a spark.
01:04She's such a warm actress.
01:06She's such an experienced actress.
01:10She lends gravity to the project.
01:13They do suit each other, but Jim is very relaxed.
01:18He's a very contemporary actor.
01:20Does he look like a writer?
01:22A writer in Paris.
01:25There's a word for this, isn't there?
01:28Uh, butch.
01:28Jim's really relaxed.
01:30Jim's got a really healthy attitude about everything.
01:32He's really real, really honest, and so much fun.
01:36I mean, I've never known anyone who was so pure of heart and so naughty at the same time, so
01:41he's great fun.
01:41With a character like Dexter, who, let us say, has a journey where at points in the story he's not
01:48always likeable or sympathetic.
01:49You really need an actor like Jim who can always carry the audience's sympathies with him.
01:54And, yeah, I think he does an amazing job.
01:56I don't want to see you in the shower, or have a wee, or have a wee in the shower.
02:00Well, I can't promise that.
02:01You have to, Dex, it's the rules.
02:03And absolutely no skinny dipping.
02:08She's so down to earth, so normal, and it's really exciting to see someone so young being as successful as
02:14she is,
02:14but also as much of a team player.
02:16You know, she's really, she's really great laughs.
02:18She's brilliant.
02:18I mean, I couldn't have asked anyone better, really, to sort of have that friendship.
02:21And our sort of friendship developed as the film sort of went on as we tried to play these two
02:26best friends.
02:27You know, it was great fun.
