00:23Finovation assesses six CSR projects across five states.
00:27In today's Finovation Project Spotlight, we feature an impact assessment of six CSR projects
00:33implemented by a leading Kolkata-based microfinance institution.
00:37Finovation assessed six CSR initiatives across Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam and Uttar Pradesh
00:44aimed at improving the socio-economic conditions of underserved communities.
00:49The projects focused on primary healthcare awareness, safe drinking water, scholarships for girls' students,
00:55skill development for livelihoods, school infrastructure enhancement and flood relief in disaster-affected regions.
01:02Through comprehensive on-ground impact assessment, Finovation evaluated the effectiveness of these interventions
01:07and reinforced its commitment to delivering data-driven, measurable and sustainable CSR outcomes.

01:16Abbott expands digital healthcare access through CSR.
01:19Global healthcare company Abbott is strengthening primary healthcare in underserved communities
01:24through its CSR initiatives by expanding access to digital health services and teleconsultations.
01:31Working with AmeriCare's India Foundation, Abbott has upgraded 309 primary health centres
01:36into Ayushman Arogya Mandirs across 12 states, benefiting nearly one crore people.
01:42The initiative has also trained over 5,800 healthcare professionals and 8,100 ASHA workers
01:50while supporting vaccination awareness, STEM education and preventive healthcare programmes.
01:56Abbott says the next phase will focus on digital healthcare solutions to improve access to quality medical services in remote
02:03areas.

02:05India's CSR ecosystem expected to cross 1 lakh crore rupees.
02:10Speaking at a CSR knowledge session in Hyderabad, Dr. Bhaskar Chatterjee, widely regarded as the architect of India's CSR framework,
02:18said the country's CSR ecosystem is expected to reach 75,000 crore rupees within the next three years
02:25and eventually cross 1 lakh crore rupees.
02:28He noted that more than 30,000 companies now contribute over 40,000 crore rupees annually,
02:34compared to around 9,000 crore rupees when CSR became mandatory.
02:39Dr. Chatterjee also highlighted that India has nearly 3.3 million registered NGOs,
02:45creating significant opportunities for stronger partnerships between corporates and civil society
02:50to drive sustainable development.

02:55Kerala to strengthen government hospitals through CSR.
02:58Health Minister K. Muralidharan has announced that the state government will collaborate with banks
03:03and private institutions to utilize CSR funds for improving infrastructure in government hospitals and medical colleges.
03:10The announcement was made during the inauguration of several initiatives at Kerala University of Health Sciences,
03:16including a public health YouTube channel, an e-learning studio and a medicinal plant garden.
03:21The initiative aims to strengthen healthcare infrastructure while improving access to quality medical services across the state.

03:31Indian Bank contributes 1.20 crore rupees for Assam flood relief.
03:37Indian Bank has contributed 1.20 crore rupees under its Corporate Social Responsibility Programme
03:44to support flood relief and rehabilitation efforts in Assam.
03:47The check was presented to Chief Minister Himanta Biswasharma
03:50with a contribution aimed at strengthening relief measures for families affected by the recent floods.
03:56The bank stated that the initiative reflects its continued commitment to humanitarian assistance
04:00and community welfare during times of crisis.
