00:00Question about the essential basket of goods, you said they're going to be 30% cheaper than they would be
00:04at the grocery store down the street, or even if there's one not down the street, if it's a food
00:08desert.
00:09How are you going to keep people from taking advantage of that deal, basically, and is there going to be
00:16a limit on the number of items that someone can take that are discounted at that level from that essential
00:20basket?
00:21So our RFP makes very clear that this is a program for New Yorkers to be able to put food
00:27on the table, not a program for people to be able to make a quick buck through reselling.
00:30I'm going to pass it over to our EDC head, G-PAC, to add some additional details.
00:35Yes, if you look at our RFP for the operator, we are looking to make sure that we target New
00:41Yorkers, whether it be sort of a library card-esque, and also we manage who's buying and that is focused
00:48on everyday New Yorkers.
00:49So we are mindful of that, and so we're going to make sure that we have all the things in
00:55place to make sure that that does not happen.
