00:02Investment strategist Charlie Bolello said SpaceX's sharp decline reflects a pattern
00:07seen in many major IPOs, with early enthusiasm giving way to unrealistic expectations
00:13and a market reality check. In a post on X on Sunday, Bolello said investors should remember
00:19that great companies can still be poor investments if purchased at the wrong price and urged them
00:24not to chase stocks after strong debuts. He also said SpaceX's first major test will come
00:30after its earnings report, when insiders and early investors are allowed to sell shares.
00:35Bolello added that the S&P 500 was right not to change its rules to include SpaceX,
00:40because the company is not yet profitable. Jeffrey's analyst Aniket Shah said SpaceX's decline
00:46reflects investors re-evaluating AI-related expectations rather than concerns about
00:51the company's governance. SpaceX has fallen about 52% from its post-IPO high and traded
00:57at 108.44 in Monday pre-market trading, according to data from Benzinga Pro.
