00:11I thought it would have been fixed pretty quickly, normally this sort of thing doesn't

00:16It's frustrating, because we live down south, so it's nearly half an hour drive, now we
00:25have to turn around and go back.
00:26Above ground, crews repaired road damage, while below SA Power Networks and SA Water
00:32teams attempted to get businesses back online.
00:35We thank them for their patience and we understand that it's incredibly frustrating for them.
00:39The cause of the outage of burst water main that flooded an electrical substation early
00:44Friday morning.
00:46Of 1,200 properties initially affected, SA Power Networks says only four remained without
00:51power on Saturday, with Rundle Place, the ATO Building and Bendigo Bank back online at 2.30
00:58this afternoon.
00:59Electricity is expected to be restored to the NAB Building in Pirie Street by Monday morning.
01:05Questions are now turned to what compensation businesses could be entitled to, but it appears
01:10unclear whether it's SA Water or SA Power Networks that will be required to pay.
01:16I would encourage all customers to be ensuring that they pursue any of their legal entitlements
01:24through SAPIN that they may have.
01:25We would encourage customers to speak to their insurance providers, I mean quite clearly this
01:30is extensive damage and outages with the origin being a SA Water mains burst.
01:37Another potential frustration for businesses already out of pocket.
