00:18National Instrumental of Puerto Rico, the IV. You saw it in the Super Bowl 60,
00:24the IV, puertorriqueño, is our national instrument that has been a lot of years being part of the music folkloric
00:32of Puerto Rico,
00:33and in recent years, little by little, different artists have been using it in popular music, urban music,
00:41you have heard it famously in themes like Pégate de Ricky Martin, Despacito de Lifonsi,
00:47and recently, with Baddwein and Pitorro de Coco, what happened to Hawaii, so this instrument is mostly made of puertorriquean,
01:00we obviously use amplification systems that are used in guitars, in this case I have a Fishman, a Preampt Fishman,
01:09that has microphone and Undersaddle, and it helps me, this IV is of approximately 2,5", or 2",
01:18more or less, it works for what are the big ones and avoid a bit of feedback,
01:25these IV are made by artisans luthiers, more or less, the prices will vary depending on
01:33the made that use, the artisans, and more or less you can buy four cheap,
01:42maybe from 400, 500, 700 dollars, to four more, uh, a little more, uh,
01:50in price, like $2,000, $2,500, $3,000, $1,500, more or less, but this is our national instrument
01:58national and I am grateful for that they are having a global acceptation and well
