09:065-1-2,
09:07Мейт-фрес, Строн got caught up on the screen.
09:10Беккерс won't go, another rebound.
09:13Ириафин, all over it.
09:14Беккерс trying to take advantage of that cross match
09:16with Betts closing up there.
09:19Drop cover is trying to shrink that space.
09:25Ириафин, over top, Kiki won't get it.
09:28Coming up on 90 seconds left here in the third quarter.
09:33Oh, just miscommunication.
09:35Shepard wasn't looking for it.
09:37Oh, you mentioned MVPs earlier.
09:39Chris, what are you thinking for this season?
09:42All of them are worthy.
09:43Right now, I mean, look at Kelsey Mitchell.
09:45I mean, her numbers as well as going for a doctorate.
09:47At the same time, she's been getting busy,
09:50but every player on here is worthy of it.
09:53Asia Wilson is just a monster in terms of her consistency
09:57at Paige Beckers.
09:59But Olivia Miles, the spectacle, the show,
10:01whatever you want to call her,
10:03she's bringing it to the table.
10:06And she's just playing at a different level for Minnesota.
10:13Citron, last touch by Dallas.
10:15It'll stay with the Mystics.
10:16I noticed you didn't give me a specific answer there.
10:18You don't know me well, then.
10:19I do, I do.
10:20I'm just sitting on the spot.
10:22I'm the last to order at dinner.
10:25I, you know, that's, no, but I think right now,
10:29until somebody takes it away from Asia Wilson,
10:32it's Asia right now, today.
10:35Austin, into the corner.
10:39Clark, head up, eyes up.
10:42One minute to play.
10:43Fudd, top-of-the-key, three-ball no.
10:48Mystic's ball.
10:51Just to put a bow on that thought.
10:52What a beautiful time it is to have so many options
10:55for MVP in the league.
10:57Absolutely.
10:57That's why I'm last to order,
10:59because everything looks good.
11:00It's hard to pick one.
11:03Make sure everybody keeps.
11:05Everybody, man.
11:06Three kids.
11:07So many times.
11:13Austin, begging for it.
11:17Austin, the turnaround.
11:19She's been unstoppable tonight.
11:21Austin.
11:24Just unconscious offensive production
11:27from Shakira Austin in this game.
11:30Absolutely spectacular.
11:34Playing defense here on Segrist.
11:36Sutton, off the screen.
11:41Segrist with four to shoot.
11:45Segrist, off the heel.
11:47Got her own miss.
11:48Oh, hooked it in.
11:51He's such a toughie.
11:56Sitron with four.
11:58Sitron, it's good if it goes.
12:01Sitron, oh, just off of the mark.
12:07Shakira Austin is continuing to put on a show here in D.C.
12:12Look at getting great position inside.
12:15Spinning, winning, and cashing in in the mid-range.
12:19Did you see that?
12:19Number five.
12:24Ten minutes to play.
12:26Four-point game here in the district.
12:28Paige Beckers dropped in 12 points in that third quarter
12:31to help the Wings keep pace with the Mystics,
12:35as Shakira Austin has put on an absolute clinic-leading all-scores.
12:3823 points on the night for Austin.
12:41Out of the zone here by Dallas at 2-3, trying to pack it in,
12:45and then shrink down to Shakira.
12:49Trying to get her out of the blistering rhythm
12:51that she has been in this evening here.
12:54That's the first foul on Alicia Clark,
12:56first team foul on the Wings here in the quarter.
12:58And the fourth quarter is really where Washington has excelled
13:01over the season in racking up those late-game free-throw opportunities.
13:06Six and two in games decided by three points or less.
13:09Washington is.
13:11Inexperienced team has a lot of grit and fight.
13:15Amor with three.
13:17That triple won't fall.
13:18Clark the rebound.
13:23When you ready, it's tough defense.
13:27That's a little random.
13:28Now Alicia Clark.
13:34Seagrass fouled by Austin on the curl.
13:40First foul on Austin, first team foul in the quarter.
13:44That's been an area that's been different for Shakira
13:46over the last month or so, cleaner defense.
13:49And she's played with discipline, right?
13:51She knows, and I think that goes into her becoming the leader
13:55that she has wanted to be for this team.
13:56She has to do it by actions as well.
13:59Yuru!
14:00Three ball too strong.
14:02Seagrass tied up.
14:03Betts took it away.
14:04Oh, my.
14:05Oh, boy.
14:07Bet on that.
14:09Oh, and Betts snatched that out of there.
14:11Onion wet a corner pocket well short.
14:13Yuru tracked it down.
14:14One, two, three, four.
14:17Two, three.
14:22Sutton off the screen, wins back out.
14:25Seagrass, no.
14:27Clark, out-of-nowhere.
14:29Sutton, four-three, too strong.
14:32Foul on the floor.
14:34It's against Washington.

21:551% free-throw shooter is Ulrike Gunduala.
22:02Big go, 1-2, though.
22:04That is her first point of the second half.
22:07Keeps Dallas with in-2 here, under six minutes to play.
22:12From the Mystics' perspective, how do you reset?
22:15You just have to tap in.
22:16You have to go into next play mentality.
22:18Washington has been masterful at that all season.
22:21That's why they've been able to play well in the clutch of games.
22:24Fudd, three-pulls fell out of the rim.
22:28My goodness.
22:31Oh, it missed off their area fin.
22:38Citron, two-woman game.
22:40Austin kicked it out.
22:44Five to shoot.
22:48Citron, Citron wild shot.
22:52She's under the duress of some really good, staunch defense by Dallas there.
22:57Ogumbawale for three!
23:00Dallas' first lead since 8.30 in the first quarter.
23:05That's why you don't poke the bear, especially when the bear has come in clutch so many times throughout her
23:12storied career.
23:13Collegially, as well as in the pros.
23:16Ouch.
23:18Oh, Austin.
23:20And a foul.
23:27Arike Ogumbawale has been on a heater, got her ten toes down behind the three-point line to blister the
23:35necks.
23:36You see the Dallas wings flying high right now.
23:42Strong level of emotion.
23:44Sometimes I'm telling you those technicals, you can't ignite something like,
23:48you're not going to do that to my girl, you're not going to do that to my teammate, and soldier
23:51up.
23:52And that's what you saw right there in the last couple of possessions.
23:55Defensively walled up, got the basketball, came down here and cashed in.
23:59Soldier up, buckle up, as we're under five to play.
24:02Austin to the free throw line.
24:04Took it a little while to get up after taking that last hit from Jess Shepherd.
24:08As she gets the free throw to fall.
24:17Eleventh double-double of the year for Shakira Austin.
24:20Twenty-four points, ten boards, and she went one of two.
24:32Gumbawale just hit the three, gets down a hill of Gumbawale with 20.
24:37And just took it right to George Amor there, and almost got the steal.
24:41A whirling dervish for Amor.
24:43Here you've been through the lane, plus the foul!
24:47Ooh, Kiki, do you love me?
24:55What a solid finish by Kiki Iriafin.
24:59And she's like, and what?
25:02And one, hun.
25:03Right there, with the body and the bucket.
25:09Seventeen points now for Iriafin as McMahon checks back in.
25:13The possession prior to this one, Iriafin had good position,
25:17was begging for it on the inside.
25:19This time, just took it herself.
25:22It's going to come down.
25:23The defensive stops here, you see.
25:25Marike Gumbawale, including McMahon, maxed up yet again.
25:28It was a little dry smile there by McMahon,
25:30so I think there's still a little bit chirping going on.
25:34Stay focused, though.
25:36Fudd, baseline, drive the reverse,
25:39and the hometown kid puts the wings back in front.
25:45The parents, Tim and Katie Fudd in the building for this one,
25:49along with a ton of her family members.
25:51Iriafin into the body.
25:53Iriafin, two more!
25:56That's night-night if you sit behind Iriafin,
25:59or Austin for that matter, within that restricted area.
26:04Man, that's just unstoppable.
26:08You've got to pick a side defensively
26:10when you're guarding on the interior,
26:13but when you get positioned straight in front of the cup,
26:15Tofta stop it.
26:17Iriafin pump faith.
26:19Smooch off the window.
26:20Another paint point for the Mistsits.
26:29Dallas out and do everything we could to execute to win,
26:33and that's what happened.
26:34So let's see if they can replicate that effort in this one here
26:37against the Wings.
26:38On the flip side of that, Dallas very familiar about giving up late games.
26:43They're coming off of that one-point loss to the Dream in which they led by 15,
26:47trying to make sure that does not happen again,
26:49as Shepard fouled on her way to the rim.
26:52Oh!
26:55Well, Washington wants it to be reviewed.
26:57The foul called on Iriafin, and Sidney Johnson wasting no time.
27:01We're going to get a coach's challenge.
27:04He got low with it.
27:05He bent down, and he's winding it up.
27:09They'll take a look at this.
27:11We will step away as well.
27:13Don't go anywhere.
27:14We got a one-point game.
27:21What's the last play that Washington asked to take a look at?
27:24Well, let's see.
27:25Jess Shepard putting it on the deck and getting beyond Kiki Iriafin.
27:31It looks like she just lost her balance and fell on her own.
27:34Let's see, from this angle, Iriafin beaten.
27:41And that left arm, did that do enough?
27:45It looks like she fell on her own there to me.
27:48I don't think that that was enough force from Iriafin to have her fall.
27:53The call on the floor was a foul on Kiki Iriafin,
27:56and it will, if it stands, send Jess Shepard to the free-throw line.
28:0072.5% free-throw shooter.
28:05Now, the wings haven't been to the free-throw line very much.
28:08They're not going to get to go here because Washington wins the challenge.
28:12And that's, like I said, it just looked like she fell.
28:15And Kiki Iriafin was like an innocent bystander there on that particular possession.
28:22So not only does it keep Dallas off of the free-throw line,
28:25one less foul on Kiki Iriafin.
28:28And the possession belongs to the Mystics.
28:34So Washington got a one-point game right here.
28:40That could have changed things.
28:45Iriafin trying to get right in front of the club for a touch for Iriafin there.
28:49Had to empty out, though.
28:51They go up to Austin.
28:54Foul, McMahon.
28:55Oh, knocked away.
28:56You gotta know.
28:57Austin with two.
28:59Austin just has to go.
29:01Shot clock violation.
29:04And Washington wasn't aware of the shot clock.
29:09Sidney Johnson was saying, we gotta go.
29:11We gotta go.
29:11We gotta lift it.
29:12We gotta shoot it.
29:13And we're right there.
29:14We have four seconds.
29:16It's imperative to execute, even just to get the shot up there.
29:20With them being the second-best team in the league with offensive rebounds,
29:23they can get it back.
29:24We gotta get it up on that rim, though, at least.
29:27Wasted possession for the Mystics in a one-point game.
29:31This quarter has had four lead changes.
29:33They blitzed the screen.
29:35Good jump switch there by Austin.
29:38And a takeaway.
29:40Sidron has McMahon.
29:41McMahon powering in for the layup.
29:52Shepard turns the corner.
29:54Shepard cut off.
29:55Smith up and under a whistle.
30:00Oh, we got a technical foul.
30:02Oh, and Sidney Johnson is also infuriated on the sideline.
30:06He has to be careful.
30:09Kiki Irifin picked up the common foul and picked up a technical.
30:14And he is incensed by saying why.
30:18You just have to be composed at this juncture of the game.
30:25And it sends Beckers to the free throw line.
30:28And that is the person, if you're Dallas, you want in that situation.
30:31Take a look and see the last possession unfolded.
30:36Kiki Irifin bounced the ball.
30:40And let it fly and didn't catch it.
30:44Fourth foul on Irifin.
30:46And so that was Beckers that just shot the technical.
30:48And now Smith going to the free throw line to shoot the foul shots.
30:52As Smith gets the first.
30:56Game-changing moments right here.
31:00Smith is the 64% shooter from the free throw line.
31:05It's the tenth free throw of the night for the wing.
31:08Smith gets both.
31:09We're tied at 71.
31:12The Mystics played a four-overtime game earlier this season.
31:15And this is feeling a lot like that one right now.
31:21Austin spinning and draws the foul.
31:23How smart is that?
31:27Shakira Austin.
31:28It has been the defense that has made Dallas pay right there
31:34and jumping for the double team up top, forcing the turnover.
31:37And then getting it up the floor.
31:39Sony Citron with a nice bounce pass.
31:42Cody McMahon with a solid finish at the rack.
31:46Foul on Alana Smith.
31:48That is her fifth.
31:49Also the fifth team foul on Dallas.
31:52Both teams in the bonus as Austin continues to add to her stellar outing.
32:00It was quite remarkable for Shakira Austin.
32:02And one of the shooting stars competition with Elena Delgado with two-time NBA MVP.
32:08And Gigi Banks, an up-and-comer.
32:10It was phenomenal as well.
32:13Defense!
32:15Defense!
32:16Two-point Mystics lead under two and a half to go.
32:20Defense!
32:22Defense!
32:23Defense!
32:24Fudd.
32:25In the lane.
32:26Smith.
32:27Lost it!
32:30Shepard with four.
32:31Shepard dumped it off.
32:33Smith underneath.
32:34Right place, right time.
32:36Incredible finish there underneath the basket and the wherewithal.
32:41To know that she had to get it out of her hands with two seconds on the shot clock.
32:44Big-time bucket for the wings.
32:50Austin cut off to Aeria Finn!
32:53No call!
32:56That was Agungawale that came over.
32:59Back at the other end.
33:01Almost out of bounds for the Dallas Wings.
33:04Let's take a look.
33:05And dissect it.
33:06Look at that!
33:07Oh my goodness!
33:08Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!
33:10Whoa, whoa, whoa!
33:10Whoa, whoa, whoa!
33:11Whoa, whoa, whoa!
33:11Whoa!
33:11Now that's a big issue they have had.
33:14The Mullen.
33:15The other hand, but that heel was a millimeter away from touching the deck.
33:21Aeria Finn.
33:23Again, no call.
33:24Jess Shepard coming over for the block.
33:29The defense in this game has been exceptional.
33:33Washington, the third best defensive rating in the WNBA.
33:37It's showing improving, but Dallas showing their worth for the wares on the defensive side as well.
33:423.9 on the shot clock.
33:43Citron over top, grazed the rim.
33:46Onionweire takes it away!
33:47That's why you have to get the ball up to the rim.
33:49Shoot it before you turn it over.
33:51Oh!
33:52Sidney Johnson making a mad dash to call the timeout.
33:55I'm glad that's what he was doing because he was on the move right there.
34:00Tie game!
34:01Don't go anywhere.
34:06I'm obsessed with the work.
34:08First season in franchise history.
34:10He flipped the script this season.
34:13Mystics with the basketball.
34:15This is the fifth time that we have been tied here in the fourth quarter.
34:18Wings have been doing good on the road.
34:21Ten and five this season.
34:23Wild shot from Austin!
34:24Loose ball!
34:26Mystics!
34:26Last touch by the wings with 2.4 on the shot clock.
34:31That's the hustle.
34:33The grind it out mentality right now.
34:36Washington maximizing yet again on the offensive boards.
34:42Citron to inbound.
34:44Looking for Austin.
34:45Got to get it in to Austin.
34:47Catch!
34:47And shoot!
34:48And a foul!
34:53Looks like they were trying to get it into either Eriefin or Austin as they should.
34:58Because they have been piercing and punishing the paint all evening.
35:04Got it in for Austin.
35:08Alana Smith picked up the foul.
35:11Her sixth.
35:11Her day is done.
35:13As Shakira Austin will go to the free throw line.
35:18Smith exits 11 points in 18 minutes.
35:22Five rebounds.
35:25As Lee Uru will come on in her place.
35:29Bigger lineup because of what Washington has been able to produce on the inside.
35:34A 40 to 22 advantage in paint points for Washington in this one.
35:41Shakira Austin had 19 points at the half.
35:45That ties her season high 27.
35:51One!
35:53One!
35:54Two!
35:55Two!
35:58Made a new season high.
36:02Two-point Mystics lead.
36:05Reset 7!
36:08Reset timeout taken here by Dallas.
36:12Coming up after we finish here in DC.
36:14Stay tuned for the post-game break presented by Toyota.
36:17Xena, Megan, and Autumn have you covered in our Atlanta studios.
36:22Big play right here for both teams.
