02:47specification is a 2.8 liter diesel with 205 horsepower and 500 newton meters of torque the car also has

02:5480 liter fuel tank which in my opinion is too small for what this rig can do this review was
03:01shot in the
03:02summer of 2025 and i'm editing it six months later meanwhile toyota has introduced a 2.8 liter diesel
03:08with a mild hybrid for 2026 thanks to electrification the car now uses more fuel and emits more co2 of
03:17course it does
03:37i took this land cruiser for about a 1300 kilometer road trip plus another 200 kilometers or so around the
03:44city since a significant part of my journey was abroad i planned my last fill up in poland and
03:50calculated that with a real world fuel consumption of 10 11 liters per 100 kilometers i should be able
03:56to return to the same gas station with plenty of fuel left meanwhile the onboard computer was showing
04:02a range of about 650 kilometers okay i figured the car must have been driven a lot in tough conditions
04:08off-road and the computer probably hadn't yet adjusted to cruising at a constant relatively economical
04:14speed which by the way is about up to 120 kilometers which is when you get below 10 liters per
04:20100 kilometers
04:21it gets worse after that sorry about that but promised average fuel consumption is about 10 and
04:28a half liters per 100 kilometers so it's thereabouts in any case it turned out that the fuel reserve
04:33warning came on at indicated 30 kilometers range i arrived at the gas station with a range of just six
04:40kilometers and i filled up less than 71 liters and that was like really to the brim so let's say
04:4570 liters
04:47so i still had fuel left in the tank for at least 100 kilometers it's worth keeping in mind when
04:52planning a road trip with the land cruiser now i would prefer an even larger fuel tank even if it
04:58were
04:58optional for customers who will either be using this vehicle extensively off-road or plan taking it on longer adventures
05:09Toyota doesn't publish a 0 to 100 kilometers per hour time for the land cruiser 250 so i checked it
05:14myself
05:15and i got 11.2 seconds in sport mode and 11.3 seconds in normal mode the differences in 80
05:22to 120 kilometers
05:23per hour and quarter mile times were negligible and the car actually performed better in normal mode it was
05:29rainy and windy but i doubt that it had any impact on the performance of this two and a half

07:39driver attention monitor are really bad at this point i need to digress about the instrument cluster
07:49in front of the driver is a digital display that can display various data and various configurations
07:54however in order to quickly access the driver assistance settings you have to assign the center of the
07:59display to have the settings icon visible otherwise accessing isa will cost you a few clicks extra and
08:07it probably already takes four or five clicks when you use the method i suggest and be warned you can't
08:14just
08:14turn off speed warnings but the entire road sign recognition system it was the same with honda a while back
08:21audible speed warnings aren't so bad but there's also an audible notification when the speed limit changes
08:27it can drive you nuts and the driver attention monitor is even worse you can access it only when you're
08:34stationary you have to go into the settings of the settings of the settings and then turn it off why

10:43the boot is properly spacious it's about 110 by 110 centimeters in oh five seat configuration and there's
10:51about 50 centimeters to the cargo cover two seats in the third row are an 1800 euro option this limits
10:57the
10:58under cargo cover height to about 35 centimeters but you can fold the backrests flat which gives you
11:04about 190 centimeters of space so you can sleep unless you're very tall in a five seater in order to
11:15get
11:15a flat loading area i have to fold down not just the rear backrest but also flip up the entire
11:20rear seats
11:21and then i have about 175 centimeters of cargo space the boot capacity is 742 liters to 2000 liters
11:30in the five seater or 556 to 1875 liters in the seven seater the diesel doesn't have a 220 volt
11:39outlet in the boot
11:40only the petrol and hybrid models do the boot can be closed and opened with gesture but only after unlocking
