00:00Think back through the last few months. Can you pinpoint the exact day you were the most
00:04stressed out? I certainly can't, but my aura ring might know better. The wearable fitness company
00:10analyzed data from millions of users and shared with the New York Post which days were the most
00:14physically stressful for Americans over the past year. And the results might surprise you. They
00:19surprised me. The number one day for both New Yorkers and the country as a whole, May 16th.
00:24It was a Saturday of all days, a weekend. In New York, that happened to be the first day of
00:29the
00:29Long Island Railroad strike, leaving hundreds of thousands of commuters scrambling to get to work.
00:34So one area of the country probably threw the curve. But according to Aura, your body doesn't
00:38just register bad stress. It also reacts to excitement, late nights, travel, alcohol,
00:44big social events, and even celebrations. So okay, the Saturday makes a little more sense now.
00:48In fact, two of New York's top 10 most stressful days linked up with the Knicks' NBA Finals run,
00:55while three of the five most stressful days nationwide were holidays. Okay,
00:58those are stressful. The company says it measures what's happening inside of your body using things
01:03like heart rate, body temperature, things like that. Not whether or not you felt stressed in the
01:08traditional sense that we think about it. So if your smart ring tells you to take it easy after a
01:13big party or a championship celebration, it turns out your body was working overtime,
01:18even if you were having the time of your life.
