00:22game the rune engine now think of this like your ultimate special skill but way better
00:28because instead of just giving you one or two moves it gives you a bunch of special skills
00:33you get these skills based on the rune crystals you put in plus even more secret skills depending
00:40on how the elements of those crystals match up it's a pretty deep system so let me walk you through
00:45it
00:51first up the interface this feature is level locked when it opens you get three slots ready to go
00:58the last two slots will unlock when you hit levels 61 and 67 now let's look at the crystals themselves
01:15you have four grades here the blue ones are your basic entry-level crystals with level one traits
01:21next up is purple and honestly this is where the fun begins this is the good stuff you'll want to
01:29aim for
01:29mainly because it's pretty easy to get your hands on them since they're not too hard to find you'll
01:35have plenty of options to mix and match until you find the perfect setup for your playstyle
01:39then we have orange which is actually pretty rare to find the cool part about these is that they come
01:46with two level options but it's random which one you get when you pick it up finally the holy grail
01:53red that's the super rare one honestly i have no clue where to find this thing yet but don't worry
02:00there's a way to get that top tier power even without a red crystal we'll get to that in a

02:10once you slot your chosen crystals into the engine you'll see the elements light up over here on this
02:16wheel the more elements you match up the more resonance you unlock which gives you even more
02:22special buffs all right let me just slap my rune crystals in here real quick if you look here
02:30you'll see different color groups each one represents a different specialty and the more matching colors
02:35you activate the more special skills you unlock up to three total you get one at two matching elements
02:42another at four and the final one when you hit seven brown or earth is your tanky build it's all
02:50about
02:50defense and survivability green or wind is amazing for general use because it boosts attack speed
02:56casting time and cooldown basically every class loves this blue or water is all about burst attack
03:03damage it's great for those big explosive moments where you want to delete enemies in one go
03:09red or fire is also offensive but instead of raw power it debuffs the enemy so you can hit even
03:15harder
03:16and finally yellow holy isn't just for healers it's great for survival because it boosts healing
03:23received and reduces damage in certain situations so how do you get the specific elements you want
03:29click the growth button here this brings you to the crystal synthesis menu first is fuse you take two
03:36crystals of the same quality combine them and you get a new crystal of the same quality this randomizes
03:43the traits elements and affixes think of it as a resetter button but honestly i have a better option
03:49for this later so hold that thought for now let's just scroll through all the different traits you can get
03:56and trust me there are a lot it's actually overwhelming at first there are so many kinds since
04:03everything is random when you obtain them every player ends up with a totally unique setup that's
04:09what makes the game so diverse everyone has their own specialization let me quickly show you what i'm
04:15working with right now i've got body amplification for extra defense aoe amplification which boosts my
04:22desperado skill blade damage boost for increasing my overall damage output balance defense which gives me a
04:29nice mix of both attack and defense and on top of that i have a few extra crystals i swap
04:36in depending
04:36on the situation like for single target fights or farming runs so my build ends up being pretty specific
04:43to how i like to play next is harmony this is great for changing the element of a crystal you
04:50sacrifice
04:50two same quality crystals to try and get a random element there's a pity system here so if you fail
04:57enough
04:57times you're guaranteed to get a double element drop the directional option is interesting you can pick
05:04the element you want so if the pity procs you have a higher chance of getting it it costs a
05:09rare material
05:10though besides the pity progress there's actually another interesting rule here if you do two harmonies in
05:17a row and both give you dual matching elements but neither of them matches the element you actually want
05:22then the next time you get a dual matching result it's guaranteed to be your chosen element
05:28pretty neat right now for the basic option well this one is purely random no guarantees no targeting but
05:36the upside is you don't need that extra rare material to use it it does have its own separate pity
05:42progress though so when you hit that pity you're guaranteed to get two matching elements
05:48it's not as precise but it gets the job done if you're low on materials lastly we have the re
05:55-roll
05:55option this is for changing the affixes the bonus stats on the crystal you don't use crystals here
06:01but materials you can buy from the shop
06:09here's the big tip look at this celestial affix it says increase trade level by one this is the secret

06:16was talking about even with a rare orange crystal you can get the power of a super rare red one

06:23by rolling this affix imagine getting this on an actual red crystal that's the jackpot so where do
06:31you actually get these crystals you'll need something called elemental crystal chests you can buy them from
06:37the shop and this is where my better option finally comes in instead of using the fuse option on your

06:44grade crystals which remember only gives you the same quality back i just dismantle them yep break
06:51them down into magic dust that dust becomes a currency you can use to buy elemental crystal chests directly
06:58now i won't lie you have to sacrifice quite a bit to afford one but the upside you get a
07:05direct shot at
07:06those level 4 quality crystals and rare orange ones trust me it's totally worth the grind besides the shop
07:13there are a few other ways to get these chests you can also grab them by joining events like time
07:19corridor scholar examination and wonder tour so make sure you don't miss those they're your best free
