00:16all right guys welcome back we are right in the middle of our very first guild league match
00:23now today's experiment is all about the rifle build i'm trying to figure out if this thing
00:28is actually viable and more importantly how to make it work to our advantage so i'm out here on
00:35the battlefield practicing my aim and positioning i tried to stick close to my teammates you know
00:41safety in numbers but we kept getting pulled back into these crazy clashes with the enemy team
00:47you know what i've got to say just running around this map feels incredible seriously there's
00:54something about the wide open spaces that just hits different you can really feel the scale of
00:58it all like you're actually out there in this massive battlefield and the best part total freedom
01:04you can move however you want dodge sprint flank reposition there's nothing stopping you
01:11no tight corridors boxing you in no random obstacles getting in your way it's just pure unrestricted
01:19movement but here's the cool part even with all that open space the map is packed with players
01:24and somehow it doesn't feel cluttered or chaotic in a bad way you've got dozens of people running
01:31around fighting casting abilities and yet it never feels like you're tripping over each other or getting
01:37stuck in narrow hallways the design just works there's no annoying clutter blocking your view
01:43no random walls messing up your aim just you your gun and the enemy team out in the open
01:51now here's a quick tip for anyone new you see that spirit or thing yeah your job is usually to
01:58pick it up
01:59and run it back to your base for points but in this clip i completely ignored it to be honest
02:05i had no clue what i was doing with it at that moment instead i decided to just focus on
02:11what i came here
02:12to do testing this gun and finding a solid strategy so here's the thing while me and my guild mate
02:18are
02:18hanging out on this side corner i start noticing something concerning most of our team yeah they've
02:25already pushed forward into the mid lane and that leaves us here just a few of us looking like very
02:31easy targets for the enemy team you see that gap that's basically an open invitation for them to rush us
02:37we're seriously outnumbered right now and i can already feel the pressure building now for a
02:43tracking build like mine basically playing as a sniper this situation is tricky distance is everything
02:50i can't just run in guns blazing like a tank or a brawler my rifle needs time to channel time
02:57to
02:57charge up that big burst damage and if i'm too close to the action i'm dead before i even finish
03:03aiming
03:04so i have to be smart about this i'm constantly checking my positioning making sure i'm out of
03:10their ability range or at least hidden enough that they can't lock onto me easily it's a delicate balance
03:16close enough to deal damage far enough to stay alive just like in the last video this part of the
03:22match
03:23was pure chaos we were fighting non-stop i kept catching enemies trying to sneak up behind us from the
03:29corner of my eye luckily they either couldn't get close enough or they just dropped dead before they
03:35became a real problem but here's the thing as the match went on you can probably guess what happened
03:42just like i mentioned before we were losing badly in points why because during the prep phase we messed
03:49up we didn't set up a proper team for the main battlefield almost everyone ended up in the sub
03:55battlefield instead honestly it's a little hard for me to even tell who i'm shooting at
04:01i have to play on low graphic settings to keep the game running smoothly on my pc
04:06so a lot of the character details are just blurry squares i wish i could see all the skins and
04:12effects
04:13because that would make it way more fun to watch anyway despite all that chaos i did figure out one

04:20thing about using the rifle and honestly this one realization changed how i play entirely the big
04:27mistake a lot of people make and i'm guilty of this too don't get me wrong is holding down that
04:33channeling ability for way too long you see that damage number you get greedy and you just hold it
04:40hold it hold it waiting for that perfect massive burst and yeah sure if it lands it's beautiful huge numbers
04:48chunk of health god feels amazing but here's the reality check problem number one the enemy isn't
04:55stupid well most of them aren't they see you standing there blowing charging up your shot and what do they
05:02do they run they dodge they hide behind a wall and suddenly your big beautiful attack it hits nothing but
05:10air all that time all that setup completely wasted problem number two and this one is honestly even more
05:18frustrated sometimes your teammate just steals your kill you're sitting there two seconds into channeling
05:25and boom your ally swoops in and finishes the enemy off before your shot even goes off
05:31so now you've done nothing wasted your cooldown and got zero credit for that elimination
05:37it's painful trust me i've been there way too many times
05:40so after failing over and over again i finally figured out the golden rule don't be greedy
05:47you have to actually control your timing this isn't a set it and forget it kind of ability
05:53you need to be active aware and ready to adapt here's what i mean instead of holding that channel until
06:00it maxes out you can release it early yeah you'll deal less damage but guess what you'll actually hit
06:07something and a small hit is infinitely better than a big miss think of it this way would you rather
06:13deal 50 damage consistently or deal 100 damage once in every five tries the math is pretty obvious
06:21consistency wins matches greed loses them so yeah that's the strategy moving forward control the channel
06:29read your target's behavior adjust your release timing based on their health and movement and most
06:35importantly keep your ego in check the rifle is a tool not a one-shot wonder use it wisely
06:42and it'll carry you through matches you know what despite everything despite the losses the missed
06:48shots the chaos i've actually really enjoyed this event so far seriously yeah we lost yeah
06:56i was basically just running around practicing and experimenting with my build half the time
