00:28which is of course under gravity so you know what that means it's time to hit that reset button and
00:35start my adventure all over again right from the very beginning as a humble novice it just feels
00:41so good to be back in this world now for those of you who are completely new to ragnarok online
00:47don't you worry because the game has got your back the quest system actually has a really helpful
00:53guiding path kind of like what you see in most modern mobile games these days this feature is
00:59an absolute lifesaver because it's going to point you exactly in the direction you need to go leading
01:04you straight to your destination and trust me this is super important for newcomers since the maps and
01:10the monsters here aren't exactly laid out in a nice progressive stage by stage order like in some other
01:16games it can get a little confusing but this quest guide will keep you on track when it comes to
01:22my
01:23chosen job well i decided to go with a classic i'm playing as a mage just like i did way
01:28back in the
01:29day i do want to give a quick heads up to all the veteran players out there who know their
01:34way around
01:35ragnarok for the first few weeks after the server goes up changing to your second job isn't going to be
01:41allowed just yet that feature will only become available in september so we'll have to be patient
01:47and make the most of our first class for a little while one of the biggest differences i've noticed
01:52compared to the old ragnarok online is that here we can actually follow the quests without wasting any
01:58time wandering around cluelessly trying to figure out where to even start i've played so many different
02:04versions of ragnarok especially this original type and my first instinct is always to head straight to
02:10pay in dungeon to kill some zombies and grind for experience but now with this improved version and
02:17all the new features they've added the main quest is definitely leading me down the right path so i'm
02:23just going to go with the flow and follow where it takes me now first things first i was told
02:29that
02:29there's a super fun collaboration going on with baby shark yeah you heard that right the famous song
02:35you can actually grab a special costume right in the middle of frontera and speaking of frontera
02:41have you guys actually taken a moment to really listen to the town's theme song i mean like really
02:48listen to it because if you pay close attention you'll notice something incredible hiding in there
02:53do you hear that drumbeat woven into the original theme isn't that just absolutely awesome it's those
03:00little details that completely bring me back and give me all the nostalgic feels you know the
03:05developers behind this version really went above and beyond putting so much thought and effort into
03:11making sure everyone's experience feels completely brand new even for us old school veterans who've been
03:17around since the early days they didn't just copy and paste the old game they actually took the time
03:23to refresh things and add all these little touches that make exploring the world feel fresh and exciting
03:28all over again and just for your reference let me tell you about the players here there are a lot
03:34of
03:34them like seriously a whole bunch on the first and second day that i played the server which already has
03:42a huge capacity specifically designed to accommodate a massive number of players ended up completely full
03:48can you believe that it was absolutely packed to the brim and honestly that just goes to show that
03:55the game is so much fun to play especially with that many people running around doing quests grinding
04:01monsters and just having a great time together it really brings back that lively bustling mmo atmosphere
04:08that we all love so much oh and by the way this is really important don't you dare forget to

04:47but keep in mind that these stats will only last for the duration of this special event
04:52after that the costume will stick around and still look cool but it just won't have any attributes
04:58attached to it anymore as for my first major target after i feel like i've had my fill of the
05:03daily
05:04quests for a bit i'm planning to head over to the pico pico area right now i'm kind of weighing
05:10my
05:10options should i keep dealing with the daily quests or should i just focus on grinding for experience
05:16directly from monsters honestly with my class being a mage i think it's way more efficient and beneficial
05:22for me to just focus on grinding and getting that sweet experience from hunting monsters
05:27however i've noticed that in this version of the world the original locations where monsters are
05:33supposed to spawn have mostly changed for example pico pico is supposedly supposed to be spawning on this
05:40particular map but now it's just not there it's actually located on a completely different map
05:46instead and it's not just them almost all the monsters with a few exceptions spawn only on specific
05:53portions of these maps from my experience while using the auto attack feature my character has this
05:59annoying tendency to slowly drift toward the other side of the map after being in auto attack mode for a
06:04little while so i have to keep an eye on that but you know what i think that while i'm
06:10still at a low
06:10level going after pico pico is a fantastic strategy especially when i allocate my cold bolt skill they
06:18become the perfect monster to help me level up fast while also grinding for some equipment that's
06:23actually suitable for my class and now let's talk a little more about this pico pico situation
06:29because there's actually more to it than just leveling up fast other than the original drops
06:34that it normally has this monster also has a costume drop attached to it yeah you heard that
06:40right a whole costume and i honestly believe that the chance of getting that costume to drop is even
06:46lower than the already infamous will chance of getting a card so if you manage to snag one you're
06:52basically winning the lottery in this game but wait here's where things get even more interesting
06:58the equipment that it drops specifically the wand and the sandals actually come with attributes
07:03attached to them which is such a cool twist this kind of adds a whole new layer of fun to
07:09the
07:09grinding process because it gives you something exciting to look forward to you're not just farming
07:14for experience points but you're also hunting for that perfect piece of gear with the best possible
07:19stats the options on these items can vary anywhere from one to three different attributes on a single
07:26piece of equipment and the best part is that these options are randomly given so you might get
07:31something with the minimum stat effect which is still helpful or you might get incredibly lucky and
07:36roll one with the maximum stat effect which is obviously what we're all hoping for it really makes the
07:42grind feel more rewarding and keeps you coming back for more because you never know when that perfect drop
