01:43home an Oscar in 1998 for Best Original Screenplay for co-writing Good Will Hunting, and they've
01:49remained close ever since. Over the years, Affleck has also become a major Hollywood player.
01:54His big millionaire win comes as Netflix just dropped a ton of cash to scoop up his AI startup,
02:01Interpositive, while still promising to keep humans in the driver's seat. The streaming giant
02:06paid a whopping $587 million, reportedly in cash, to acquire Affleck's AI company in March.
02:14The deal helped boost Affleck's net worth, which is now a reported $300 million, a drop
