00:00I cannot even express how grateful I am to Ryder, the lifeguard, the other lifeguard,
00:04and even the Good Samaritans that tried to help. I mean, he ran into that water despite those
00:09conditions that are deadly. You know, you have 10-foot waves, you have riptides and currents
00:15coming in. It is not safe for him to go into that water, so he's risking his own safety and
00:20his own
00:20life just to save my child, my little boy, and he did. The leadership he showed in just running
00:27into that and the bravery is miraculous, and I'm his biggest fan, and I could not express how
00:33grateful I am. You know, it's a near-death experience. I mean, look, again, another couple
00:37seconds, he wouldn't have survived, and from his perspective, you know, he's in the water,
00:42he's drowning, there's no one to help him, he doesn't see help, and he blocks out, and he's
00:45unconscious, so, you know, he thought he was going to die. I think he's in shock. I think he's a
00:52bit,
00:52you know, traumatized, understandably. He's a very creative, curious kid that just wants
00:57to learn and live his life to the fullest, and because of Ryder and then the other people
01:02there, he's going to have an opportunity to do that.
