00:00The place where protestors responded to water cannons with a rain dance is heading to polls.
00:05I'm in Patna and let me tell you why this isn't just another election.
00:10It will be the first election after what we saw on Jantar Pantar on July 20 and after Dharmendra Pradhan's
00:17resignation.
00:25For over three decades, the Naveen family held the Bakipur seat in Patna.
00:29And now that Nitin Naveen is the president of the BJP, the seat is being contested by Neeraj Kumar Sinha.
00:34And guess who's giving him a tough fight? Prashant Kishore.
00:38But the last time PK's party Jansuraj contested elections, it won zero seats.
00:50But why has PK decided to debut from a BJP bastion?
00:53He wanted to make a place, Prashant Kishore.
00:56Look, BJP has never lost an election on that seat.
01:03BJP used to say,
01:04that if we fought here, he can win.
01:08But when Prashant Kishore came to fight elections,
01:11then it was not a Kutta Billi type election for the BJP.
01:14And BJP has had to use its entire machinery.
01:19A lot has changed in the last eight months since Bihar last voted in the 2025 assembly elections.
01:24A new CM, a Gen Z movement and Prashant Kishore finally entering the whole fray.
01:29But will any of it show any impact?
01:31We'll find out on August 3 when the votes are counted.
