01:06at sumuporta sa mga informal LGBTQI support groups
01:10para magkaroon din po sila ng UP Babaylan experience.

01:18And for everyone, ano na ba ang dapat natin makita
01:22sa isang inclusive education system?
01:25Because I understand, in the Philippines,
01:28not all institutions are with this.
01:30I mean, in terms of schools, UPS, FEUS,
01:35but others, we're not sure though.
01:36Tell us more.
01:37Yes.
01:38Ang inclusive education for all
01:40ay isa po sa aming mga campaigns, no?
01:42For schools and learning institutions
01:46na may respeto, may safety, no?
01:49Wherein everyone can learn with dignity, no?
01:52Ang ibig sabihin po nito for LGBTQI learners, no?
01:57Aside from policies, no?
01:59Katulad ng mga usapin ng gender uniforms, no?
02:03So, nandito rin po yung usapin
02:06ng meron bang support group
02:07sa kanilang universities, no?
02:09So, yun po ang inclusive education for all campaign.
02:12Kasi I understand some of the actions
02:14na ginagawa or activities for that
02:16is yung pagpalitong honorifics,
02:19pag-honors honorifics,
02:20and your preferred name mo,
02:22your gender identity and expression.
02:26Well, we want to know also,
02:29ano-ano ba mga issue
02:30or pangunahing issue
02:31na kakulangan sa ating sistema sa edukasyon
02:33na dapat natin pagtunan?

02:36Isa sa mga issue ay ang bullying
02:39or discrimination, no?
02:41Siyempre kapag ang isang estudyante, no?
02:44Meron siyang nadadanas na pangungutiyan, no?
02:47Or any form of exclusion,
02:48mas mahirap talaga para sa kanyang matuto, no?
02:52Pangalawa,
02:53nandito rin po yung usapin
02:54ng gender-responsive policies.
02:56Tulad po nung nabanggit nyo kanina
02:58na very mainit yung usapin ng haircut

03:10pero pinipilit sila magpagupit, no?

03:15For example, for transgender students, no?

03:23or yung mga administration ng universities, no?
03:27Dapat meron din po silang support na nare-receive, no?

03:35and make LGBTQI learners more safe.

04:22SOGSC-based discrimination,
04:24for example,
04:25meron silang malalapitan, no?

04:29This is somehow a serious matter
04:31because you've told about
04:32the Pride Help Desk,
04:33which is, I think,
04:34it's really,
04:34and I feel,
04:35it's really helpful, no?

04:46Recently, during the Pride Month,
04:48in different schools,
04:49especially in the elementary
04:50and high schools
04:50in the Department of Education,
04:52some were celebrating Pride Month.

04:54And then, there are some parents
04:55na talagang halas gumawa ng grupo
04:57na tuligsayin ito
04:59na parang hinahawa daw nila
05:00yung kanilang anak
05:01doon sa konsepto ng Pride.
05:03What could be the action
05:04for things like this?
05:05Kasi it's really a serious issue
05:07because they're gonna say again
05:09na gonna use Bible verses
05:11once again
05:12para lang maitalo
05:14yung konsepto
05:15ng ating nararamdaman
05:16at yung ating gender identity
05:17expression.
05:19Eh, on that part,
05:20it's mga bata
05:21at mga ito.
05:22And then,
05:22they're celebrating Pride.
05:23And of course,
05:25ako, I agree for that.
05:26But those parents
05:28na sila mismo,
05:29they want to take action
05:30na dapat yung Pride
05:31sumusobran na daw
05:32or whatsoever.
05:33What could be the stand
05:34of the babaylanas here
05:35since we're talking
05:36about inclusive education?
05:37Ang position po talaga namin,
05:39kaming mga advocates,
05:41na inclusivity and equality
05:44can only make us all happier.
05:47At lahat ng Filipinos,
05:49bata man or matanda,
05:50deserve maging masaya.
05:52So, actually,
05:54madalas din namin naririnig
05:56yung mga objections,
05:58siguro ng family members.

06:02the more we talk about,
