00:00Here's how you make grandma's vanilla buttermilk pound cake from scratch.
00:03Just look at how moist that thing is.
00:05So the first thing I'm going to do is cream my butter and sugar together until it's white and fluffy.
00:09While that's mixing, I'm getting all my other ingredients together like the buttermilk and eggs.
00:12And we're going to add our eggs one egg at a time to our mixer on low speed.
00:17While that's going, I'm sifting my white lily flour, salt, and baking powder while adding some vanilla extract to my
00:22buttermilk.
00:23We're going to alternate our dry mix with our wet ingredients and we're going to start and end with flour.
00:27All we have to do is add our cake batter to our well-prepared pan and bake it on 325
00:31for an hour and 30 minutes and add a glaze.
00:33Make sure you get my pound cake ebook. Link will be in my bio.
00:35Here's how you make my 7-Up Cream Cheese Pound Cake.
00:38First, I'm going to get some white lily all-purpose flour. No, we don't use cake flour.
00:42And I'm going to add some baking powder to it, then I'm going to put it to the side.
00:45Overnight, I put some lemon and lime peels in my sugar and I let those lemon and lime oils get
00:50into my sugar before I mix it.
00:51And then I removed those peels and then added my butter and cream cheese and I mixed for about five
00:56minutes or until well combined.
00:57Then I added six eggs in one at a time. Make sure it was fully mixed before I added the
01:01next egg.
01:02And lastly, I'm going to alternate between my flour mixture and one cup of 7-Up, starting and ending with
01:07flour.
01:07After that, I added my batter to my cake pan. You can see how velvety smooth that is.
01:12Tap to get rid of the air bubbles. Bake on 325 for an hour and 25 minutes.
01:16I made a simple glaze with powdered sugar and 7-Up, poured it on there and it was good to
01:20go. Like and follow from the recipes.
01:21If you make this brown butter cream cheese pound cake, you will win Thanksgiving.
01:25The first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to brown and cool one stick of butter and then
01:29I'm going to add some more butter and cream cheese to my sugar.
01:32And I'm going to mix it till it becomes pale white. This is going to take around five to seven
01:36minutes.
01:36Once it's pale white, I'm going to add in my eggs one at a time. I'm going to keep the
01:40mixture about medium speed.
01:41Then after that, I'm going to add in some homemade lemon extract and some clear vanilla extract.
01:46We're going to mix this two as well combined. Then we're going to go in with three cups of all
01:49-purpose flour.
01:50I'm using white lily. You guys know I like white lily.
01:52When you add in your flour, don't over mix. It should have the consistency of a buttercream smooth and you
01:58should be able to glide your spatula through it.
01:59Place this cake into a cold oven. Set to 325 and you're going to bake it for about an hour
02:04and 30 minutes.
02:05Make sure you shake with a toothpick after one hour and you're good to go.
02:08This is the easiest cream cheese pound cake recipe on the internet and you only need five minutes to make
02:14this.
02:14So first, I'm going to add these ingredients in order, which is cake flour at the bottom, sugar on top
02:19of that, butter on top of that, cream cheese on top of that.
02:22You're going to add some already beaten eggs on top of that and vanilla lat.
02:25You're going to turn your stand mixer on medium speed for about two to three minutes until it looks like
02:30this.
02:30You're going to stop it and scrape down your bowl and then you're going to mix this on high speed
02:34for two to three minutes until it is well combined.
02:36Give it another mix with your spatula, but you're going to put this on 325 for an hour and 30
02:41minutes or into a tooth that comes out clean.
02:43You can add a glaze if you want, but it's not needed.
02:45If you want this full recipe, it's in my Southern Pound Cakes 4 e-book. The link will be in
02:49my bio.
02:49Here's how you make my original golden velvety pound cake.
02:53The first thing you're going to do is add some sugar, some butter, some cream cheese, and then we're going
02:57to go in with some sour cream.
02:59We're going to put that on the stand mixer and we're going to mix that to as well combined.
03:03You're going to mix for about five to ten minutes until it's fluffy like this.
03:06Once it's fluffy, I'm adding in my eggs and my vanilla extract.
03:09Slowly stream that in. I pre-mixed my eggs so I didn't have to mix as long.
03:13And after that as well combined, I'm going in with my all-purpose flour, salt, and baking powder.
03:17I'm just giving everything one final mix before I put it in my greased bunded pan.
03:20I'm going to put this in a cold oven set to 325, and we're going to bake for an hour
03:24and 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

03:31I've made a lot of pound cakes, but this has to be my favorite.
03:33Here's how you make my brownie pound cakes step by step.
03:37All right, so the first thing we're going to do is we're going to sift three cups of flour and
03:40a half teaspoon of baking powder and put it to the side.
03:43Now to three sticks of butter, I'm going to add three cups of sugar.
03:46I'm going to beat it till it becomes white. This is going to take about five to ten minutes.
03:49Then I'm going to crack five eggs, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to it, and mix it in the
03:53mixture at one egg at a time.
03:55Now I have one cup of whole buttermilk, and I'm alternating between the buttermilk and the flour mixture.
04:01When it's done, it should be very velvety and smooth like this.
04:04Next, we're going to make our brownie to go inside of it.
04:07Now, I just used a brownie mix, but you guys can certainly go ahead and, you know, do your brownie
04:11from scratch.
04:12I really didn't feel like it, so I'm just alternating the cake batter and the brownie mix
04:16and then make it some little squirrels, sort of like we was making with the honey bun pound cake.
04:20An hour and 25 minutes on 325.
04:24Add some cream cheese frosting on top, and it's good to go.
