00:00Let's go to the rest, let's go to the top of the game.
00:17Alright, let's jump straight into the Guild League event happening over in the subfield.
00:22I'm not gonna lie, I was pretty hyped for this one.
00:26Why, well, I finally got the chance to take my brand new level 2 Orange Tranquil Mind for a spin,
00:32and I also slapped on that Hydro card I spent ages grinding for in Violet.
00:37So yeah, I was eager to see if all that farming paid off.
00:41So, for anyone who hasn't really dived into this mode yet, here's the deal, the subfield isn't about getting kills.
00:48You're not here for the PvP scoreboard. Instead, you're taking down MVPs to give your team buffs, and you're running
00:56around grabbing Spirit Ores to repair those towers in the main field.
01:00Now, here's something that gives your guild a massive edge, good communication.
01:05Seriously, if your team is on the same page and calling out smart quotes, it can totally turn the tide
01:11in your favor.
01:12But here's the catch, there are two battlefields happening at the same time.
01:17So, you really need to pay attention to which one your shot caller is talking about.
01:22Otherwise, you might end up following orders that were meant for someone else, and that's just a waste of time.
01:28At the very start of the match, it's super important to stick together.
01:33Don't go running off in different directions. You want everyone grouped up at first to get a feel for what
01:38the enemy is doing.
01:39Check their formation, see where they're pushing, that kind of thing.
01:44Once you've got that read, then you can start splitting off based on the plan.
01:48But yeah, early game? Stay close, stay coordinated.
01:52So, in this particular match, things were going our way.
01:56We were pushing the enemy team back hard, all the way to their spawn point.
02:01And honestly, trapping them there was a game changer.
02:05Why? Because it gave our gatherers complete freedom to roam around the sub field without any pressure.
02:10As for my tracking build? Yeah, nothing new to see here.
02:14It's pretty much the same as it was back then, no surprises, no big discoveries.
02:20So instead of dwelling on that, let's get back on track to what I'm actually supposed to be doing in
02:25this mode.
02:26My real job here is simple, support the main battlefield.
02:30And that means two things, grabbing spirit oars and taking down MVPs.
02:35At first, I was just running around like, okay, where are these oars?
02:41But, nothing. They weren't spawning yet.
02:43It took me a bit to realize there's a timing to it.
02:46Either you wait for the right moment, or you wait for someone else to trigger the spawn.
02:51Normally, if the enemies aren't trapped in their own base, they're gonna make your life miserable.
02:56They'll either grab the spirit oars before you even get close, straight up delete you from the map.
03:01Or at the very least, be a huge nuisance just to waste your time.
03:06But honestly, that's not even a concern right now.
03:09We've got them completely cornered, and they're not going anywhere anytime soon.
03:13So for now, it's smooth sailing for us.
03:17The spirit oars and MVPs aren't even spawning yet.
03:20So what's really happening at the start?
03:22It feels like the first few minutes are all about map control.
03:26You're basically fighting for positioning, trying to push the enemy back so that when the resources do finally show up,
03:33your team has the easier access.
03:35It's like claiming your turf before the real action even begins.
03:39Whoever controls the map early on gets the advantage when the oars start dropping.
03:44And that brings us back to the clashes.
03:50I'm a bit confused, my tracking build keeps missing, and I don't really get why.
03:55I know the enemies have Kyrie Eleison from their priest, but my damage should be more than enough to break
04:01through that shield and still deal some damage on top of it.
04:04But nope, just misses. Over and over, and it's not like my dex is low, I pumped everything into dex
04:11already.
04:13Anyway, while all that was happening, I noticed the statue score had already gone up a bit.
04:19Someone must've delivered some spirit oars already, which means they're finally spawning.
04:24So at least that's good news.
04:26But instead of rushing off to gather spirit oars right away, I got a little sidetracked.
04:31I'll admit, I stayed behind and enjoyed the clashes for a bit.
04:36Normally, most damage I see is around 1000 per skill, with normal hits landing between 200 to 300.
04:44But when my tracking skill actually lands, it hits for 2300.
04:49Pretty big difference, right?
04:51But I still can't tell if it's actually worth it.
04:53I feel like I need more time to experiment with it.
04:56But then again, will it even be that useful when the advanced job changes come out?
05:01Honestly, even at this level, I can't seem to make it work consistently.
05:06So after a while, I got my fill of the fights and decided to get back to the real objective.
05:12As I started looking for spirit oars again, I spotted a knight holding one of those glowing orbs.
05:18That was my green light, the oars are finally here.
05:22Now let's talk strategy real quick.
05:24From what I understand, the statues and watchtowers are basically your lifelines.
05:29The statues show that percentage number on your screen, and you can heal them all the way back to 100%.
05:35The watchtowers though, they're a bit more complicated.
05:39You can only repair them if they're still standing.
05:42Once they're completely destroyed, that number drops permanently.
05:46You can't bring it back.
05:47I'm honestly curious what happens if all of them get wiped out.
05:51But for the statues, if that hits zero, it's game over, plain and simple.
06:00This whole experience made me realize just how much movement speed matters in this mode.
06:05You have to be fast.
06:07So, I went into my build and tweaked it.
06:09I swapped out my rifle because, to be honest, it disables my blink ability.
06:14And that blink is a lifesaver for zipping back to base with those oars.
06:18I switched back to my handgun so I could use fallen angel again.
06:22And I made sure to equip my fleet foot skill in my rapid retreat crystal.
06:27Gotta go fast, right?
06:36One thing that stressed me out was watching the watchtower drop to 7.
06:40It felt like no matter how fast I gathered, the damage in the main field was just eating away at
06:46our defenses.
06:47Luckily, my team was putting up a great fight, blocking enemies from leaving their spawn, which made my job way
06:53easier.
06:55Even when a stray assassin tried to chase me down, I was just too quick for them.
07:00Escape was a breeze, but imagine how tough this would be if the field was swarming with enemies.
07:06That's why fallen angel is a must-have for my gathering playstyle.
07:09I noticed the center of the map was getting pretty intense.
07:13Which makes sense.
07:15That's where the big fights are supposed to happen.
07:18But luckily for me, our team was so dominant that the sub field was basically a free for all for
07:24gathering.
07:25Honestly, playing this way has me rethinking my builds.
07:28For this specific job, the desperado setup feels way more useful than my usual tracking build.
07:34If I'm just trying to escape and gather, I don't need the tracking damage.
07:39What really blew my mind, though, was the lack of enemies gathering.
07:43I kept looking at the scoreboard, and I felt like we were barely holding on.
07:48But when I really focused on repairing, I saw our numbers were actually matching theirs.
07:53Weird, right?
07:54Anyway, despite the chaos, I checked the leaderboard and saw my name up there with the, Supply Vanguard, title.
08:01That felt pretty awesome.
08:03And honestly, this whole experience convinced me that I need to finally set up a dedicated preset for quick swapping.
08:10But hey, that's a story for another video.
08:13For now, thanks so much for watching.
