00:28is very important.
00:31The sanctions pressure on Russia is very important and really, yes, it's not only about money, how Russia, how to

01:22We have drones in the centers, modern systems of electronic warfare.
01:26The real problem is anti-ballistic systems and anti-ballistic missiles.

02:28Ukraine is now warning that if Iran responds militarily to recent attacks, Kyiv could launch
02:35long-range drone strikes deep inside Iranian cities.
02:40According to Ukrainian military media, the message is clear, if Tehran retaliates, Ukraine
02:47says it is prepared to expand the battlefield beyond the Caspian Sea.
02:52That warning comes after one of the most serious incidents yet involving the two countries.
02:58The latest escalation began after Ukraine claimed responsibility for long-range strikes in the
03:05Caspian Sea.
03:07Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the operation achieved very strong results,
03:13targeting vessels used in military cargo shipments involving Iran, along with a warship.
03:20Iran says one of those strikes hit a commercial vessel, killing one sailor and injuring another.
03:27Tehran has strongly condemned the attack, calling it a violation of international law.
03:34Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakshi said the attack cannot go unanswered and described
03:41it as a breach of the United Nations Charter.
03:44The political warnings from Tehran became even stronger.
03:49Ibrahim Azizi, the head of Iran's Parliamentary National Security and Foreign Policy Commission,
03:55issued a direct message to Ukraine.
03:58He said the United States and Israel already know that any attack on Iran comes at a cost.
04:06He then warns that Ukraine may soon learn the same lesson, because, according to him,
04:12Iran does not leave such actions unanswered.
04:15Iran has also summoned Ukraine's charge d'affaires in Tehran to formally protest the Caspian sea strike,
04:23signaling that the diplomatic crisis is rapidly escalating.
04:28Now, with Ukraine openly warning of possible drone attacks on Iranian cities and Iran promising retaliation,
04:35concerns are growing that this confrontation could move beyond indirect involvement and become a direct conflict between Kyiv and Tehran.
04:46For now, both sides have exchanged warnings instead of military action against each other's territory.
04:53But with tensions rising and both governments taking increasingly hard positions,
04:59the coming days could prove critical in determining whether this remains a war of words
05:04or turns into a dangerous new front in the wider regional conflict.
05:18A new diplomatic crisis is unfolding as Iran accuses Ukraine of carrying out a deadly attack on a commercial vessel
05:26in the Caspian Sea,
05:28opening a potentially dangerous new chapter in tensions linked to the Russia-Ukraine war.
05:34According to Iranian state media, an explosion aboard an Iranian commercial vessel killed one sailor and injured another
05:42after what Tehran alleges was a Ukrainian military strike.
05:46The accusation has prompted a strong response from the Iranian government.
05:51Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Ukraine's charge d'affaires in Tehran,
05:56condemning what it described as a hostile and criminal attack.
06:00According to the state-run IRNA news agency, Iranian officials claimed the incident had been acknowledged by the Ukrainian leadership,
06:09although Kyiv has not publicly confirmed carrying out the specific attack on the commercial vessel identified by Tehran.
06:16Iran warned that it would defend its national interests and described the alleged strike as a violation of Article 2
06:23.4 of the United Nations Charter,
06:26which prohibits the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of another state.
06:33Tehran also warned that such actions could further widen the Russia-Ukraine conflict beyond its current battlefield.
06:40Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi later discussed the incident during a phone conversation with European Union High Representative for Foreign
06:50Affairs Kaya Kalas.
06:52According to a statement released by Iran's Foreign Ministry, Araqchi urged the United Nations Security Council,
06:58the European Union and the wider international community to respond firmly and hold those responsible accountable.
07:06Iran also argued that attacks along its northern coastline were placing additional pressure on the country's maritime trade and commercial
07:14shipping.
07:15The latest accusation comes against the backdrop of a separate statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
07:22In a post on X, Zelensky claimed Ukrainian forces had achieved very strong results with long-range strikes in the
07:30Caspian Sea.
07:31He claimed those operations targeted vessels involved in military cargo shipments linked to Iran along with a warship.
07:39However, Zelensky did not identify the commercial vessel named by Tehran, nor did he publicly confirm striking the specific ship
07:48involved in Iran's allegations.
07:50The dispute unfolds amid years of deteriorating relations between Tehran and Kyiv.
07:56Since 2022, Ukraine has accused Iran of supplying Shahed drones to Russia, which Moscow has used extensively during the war.
08:05Ukraine says it has intercepted more than 44,000 Iranian-designed drones since Russia's full-scale invasion.
08:14Kyiv has also expanded defense cooperation with Gulf countries, offering anti-drone technology and operational expertise following Iranian attacks in
08:23the region.
08:24Meanwhile, President Zelensky separately alleged that Russia had shared satellite imagery of Gulf states and U.S. military installations with
08:33Iran,
08:34including surveillance covering bases in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait.
08:39Those allegations have not been independently verified.
08:43For its part, Iran continues to reject accusations that it has directly intervened in the Russia-Ukraine conflict, insisting it
08:51has remained outside the war.
08:53But the latest claims involving the Caspian Sea risk further escalating already fragile relations between Tehran and Kyiv,
09:02while adding another layer of geopolitical tension to an already volatile regional and international security landscape.
09:09So forgets this period.
