Watch as a basketball player's fast break ends in spectacular fashion when he crashes straight through a courtside door.

The dramatic incident was captured by Wang Liqiang during a basketball tournament in Xuancheng, Anhui Province, China.

The video shows an indoor match between teams in orange and dark blue uniforms as an orange-clad player races down the court on a fast break.

Unable to slow his momentum, the player loses control near the sideline and hurtles towards a glass or plastic partition door.

He slams into the barrier at full speed, shattering it on impact and sending fragments flying across the floor.
