Transcript
00:00Prince was in the studio.
00:01I was in the studio.
00:02He was like, wait a minute.
00:03I was like, the pearls were clutched.
00:05What are we saying, Keisha from Total?
00:11What up, y'all?
00:12This is Mike and Slim, 112.
00:14And I'm Casey.
00:15Hey, you here with your girls, Keisha, Kima, we're Total.
00:18And this, Justin T's.
00:21New York.
00:22Yeah.
00:23New York, definitely.
00:24Yeah.
00:24Yeah, we'll get you.
00:25Yeah, we'll say New York.
00:26Our roots are based in like, yeah, like,
00:2912 is from Atlanta, but we were raised in New York.
00:32You know, music in New York.
00:33So, yeah.
00:35And then they're from, they're from New Jersey.
00:38So it's that up top energy.
00:39You feel what I'm saying?
00:40Yeah.
00:41New York gonna show out.
00:42Kissing you?
00:43Can't you see?
00:44Missing you?
00:45Hopefully none of them.
00:48I would say Cupid.
00:50Cupid, Cupid.
00:51So we're trying to have this healthy kick going on on this tour.
00:54Thank you, thank you, Keisha.
00:58So we're abstaining from a whole lot of things.
01:01Snacks is, well, some of us, snacks are included.
01:04I don't want it to sound crazy, but the mother hen, like the one that, you know,
01:08make sure that the toilet seat is down.
01:10It was one time, Keisha.
01:12Jesus.
01:12Don't let it happen.
01:14It is mama bear.
01:16There it is, mama bear.
01:17I like that a whole lot better than mother hen.
01:18Mama bear.
01:18I got a picture of the book, was a photograph she took years ago.
01:28I'm glad.
01:31I'm going to say for Michael, Keith, it's Denzel with the lip, you know, with the lip quiver.
01:38Give me a Lawrence Tate for 1600 hours.
01:42Yes.
01:44You know what I'm saying?
01:45Yeah.
01:45Even once said Tiana Taylor.
01:47I agree.
01:47Yes.
01:48Oh, that's good.
01:49That's nice.
01:50I think she could play either one of us.
01:51She could play either one of us.
01:52She could play either one of us.
01:53She's amazing.
01:54LaToya Lutt.
01:56All right.
01:56All right.
01:57All right.
01:57All right.
01:57All right.
01:57All right.
01:59Let's get it.
02:00Okay.
02:01Add a key change.
02:02Midsaw.
02:04Yeah.
02:05It'll sound good.
02:06You know what I mean?
02:07It'll be dope.
02:08No.
02:08Trust me.
02:09Yeah.
02:10Trust me.
02:10Yeah.
02:11Trust me.
02:11It'll sound dope.
02:12It's happened before.
02:14Nobody.
02:15None of us.
02:16I have shut down everything for a hot dog.
02:22No.
02:22So food.
02:23Yeah.
02:23Like hungry.
02:24I think all of us, you know.
02:26Yeah.
02:26Yeah.
02:26We'll stop everything for that.
02:28But tired.
02:28No, no.
02:29Ain't no such thing as tired.
02:30Yeah.
02:31I was surprised.
02:33Actually, because it was the third time I ever performed it.
02:36And they didn't notice.
02:37So the first time they was looking at me.
02:39And when I got to the bridge, they clapped.
02:41Then the second show, the second city we went to, a couple people stood up when we came
02:46on.
02:46Did about a third show.
02:47Anybody stood up and they moved on.
02:50Being attentive.
02:51Being very attentive and allowing the young woman to speak.
02:56Well, I'm speaking as far as a father to a daughter, right?
02:59Allowing her to speak her mind and let me know what's going on with her and not just
03:04my perception of what I think is going on.
03:06I would keep mine short and sweet.
03:07I would just say it's still a great communication.
03:10And when they speak, believe them.
03:13I think that's a problem in this society now.
03:16They say things and then people don't respond.
03:18They don't believe them.
03:20Just too late.
03:22I got daughters.
03:23I got granddaughters.
03:25So I think just giving them an outlet to communicate freely and not feel like they're going to
03:30be judged.
03:30I tell my younger self, you can say whatever, I'm not going to judge you.
03:33I'm going to be mad at you.
03:34There's nothing you can say to me to make me stop loving you.
03:37So just give them a safe space to express themselves.
03:41I think it has a lot to do with how you were raised, how we were raised.
03:46You know, you just, and then there was times in the space where we were in contact with
03:52each other, but it was always the love.
03:54This is 112 Total and Case.
03:57And this was just a tease of our upcoming tour.
04:00The Room 112 tour.
04:01And if you don't know.
04:02Now you know.
04:04Ninja.
04:07That's awesome.
04:08That's great.
04:09That's it.
