The K4 offers a level of connectivity rarely found in compact cars with internal combustion engines—a feature available even in the new entry-level model. This is powered by Kia’s new ccNC (Connected Car Navigation Cockpit) infotainment system. It includes, among other features, an AI assistant (free for one year; available thereafter for an additional fee via the Kia Connect Store) and provides access to music and video streaming services, as well as an integrated Wi-Fi hotspot. The new Kia In-Car Payment service is also featured in the K4. As with every Kia, the infotainment system comes standard with Kia Connect online services—offering real-time information and app-based remote control functions, among other features—as well as the 7-year Kia navigation map update program. Map and other software updates are also available via Over-the-Air (OTA) updates. Smartphones can be wirelessly integrated into the infotainment system using Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™.
