Inside, the EV2 presents an open-plan cabin inspired by a picnic basket concept. The interior blends logic and emotion through the extensive use of various interior materials and an intuitive design. The dashboard surrounds the driver and front passenger, extending laterally into the door panels. This enhances comfort and reinforces the feeling of spaciousness.

The central element in the clearly and uncluttered cockpit is the wide panoramic display. It incorporates the digital instrument cluster and the navigation screen (each 31.2 cm/12.3 inches) and, between them, a 12.3 cm/5.3-inch touchscreen for climate control. The latest generation of Kia's infotainment system, the Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC), is featured in a new, more affordable "Lite" version in the entry-level Kia EV range. It has the same display layout and many of the core functions of the ccNC, but without hard-drive navigation. Route navigation is still possible, as smartphones can be wirelessly integrated into the infotainment system via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay™. Furthermore, ccNC Lite also supports over-the-air (OTA) updates and upgrades via the Kia Connect Store.
