00:00We are very excited to finally have our X-Men, as we like to, you know, fans like to consider
00:05you guys, in the MCU.
00:07What was the biggest difference playing Scott this time around?
00:12Well, his bones aren't as bendable now.
00:16Yeah, no, I think the biggest thing was, you know, the costume was very different.
00:23It was comic book accurate costume, which I think everyone was very excited about, and I was excited about as
00:28well.
00:28And you're getting to see Scott really do his thing, and I think people are going to be jazzed about
00:35that as well.
00:36This is really a film that is, in a lot of ways, paying tribute to the legacy of what you
00:40guys all started back then.
00:43How does it feel that people are still so deeply invested in the X-Men in particular, you know, still
00:49now?
00:50Well, it means the world, and it speaks to Stan Lee's world that he created in 1963,
00:54that these outcasts that felt like, you know, that they were kind of tortured by their powers in some way,
01:05and they were cast away from society.
01:11They were not accepted.
01:13And, you know, there's so many themes and important things behind it.
01:19It's not just blasting laser beams and sharp claws, you know.
01:22It's about tolerance and about acceptance.
01:28And so I think that wasn't lost on Stan when he created it back then.
01:33And I think that's why it resonates still to this day, because if it was just superpowers, I think people
01:39would get over it.
01:40I'll say one last thing.
01:41Which of the Avengers would you be most excited to get a chance to meet on set?
01:45I don't even know if you shared a scene with them, but who were you most like,
01:48you know what, they've been doing a pretty good job?
01:52I've met so many of them over the years.
01:55But, yeah, I mean, I think to me it's like the coolest thing is meeting them all,
02:00because I know these guys, but I'm meeting them all in costume on set.
02:04Like, oh, hey, Thor, you know, hey, right, yeah, yeah, okay, there's Pedro and his full Fantastic Four thing.
02:14Avengers, I mean, yeah, Chris, Chris Evans, it's cool.
