What we know so far about the attack at Berlin CSD, killing one and injuring 29

A car drove into the CSD crowd in the Tiergarten. One woman was killed and at least 29 people were injured. A manhunt is underway for 21-year-old Abdul B., who is suspected of having used a machete.

00:01The suspect in a deadly attack at Berlin's Christopher Street Day Pride event is dead,
00:06police said on Sunday following an hours-long manhunt.
00:30One woman was killed and 29 were injured after the suspect, identified as Abdul B,
00:35rammed into a crowd in Berlin's Tiergarten Park.
00:38While the attack took place outside of the official CSD route,
00:42a large number of people were still gathered just a few hundred meters away
00:45as the event was ending when the attack occurred on Saturday night.
00:49The attacker not only used the van as a weapon but is said to have gone after people with a
00:53machete afterwards.
00:55German authorities declared the attack was Islamist in nature
00:59and Chancellor Friedrich Meretz called it an attack on society and freedom.
