00:00Skubal on the mound for Detroit, but are we laying 250, 260 with Skubal?
00:07I'm certainly not going to run to the window, Tom, with that, even against the Royals.
00:13The way to approach this game is, I guess, what we're getting a good example of firsthand with the Brewers
00:19is you don't want to lay that price, but if you can get them in-game, closer to even money,
00:23that's the way to do it.
00:24There's no doubt in my mind that the Tigers are the better team
00:29I'm not sure about how much. Skubal's by far the better pitcher,
00:32but it doesn't mean that they are worthy of a minus 275, minus 280 type of price.
00:37So hopefully this game starts off slow. Maybe Skubal gives up one earned run,
00:41and that's all you need to get a better price come the fifth or sixth inning from the Tigers,
00:44and all of a sudden they're closer to even money. That's how I would play it.
00:47He could very easily fly over his strikeout prop, but I'm not looking to back them minus 275.
00:55What do you think about laying the run and a half in the first five at plus money with Detroit?
01:01A run and a half. That is at plus money. I don't hate it. I would want to know what
01:08the price is.
01:09You're like barely plus money, plus 110, or are you getting like a plus 150 price?
01:12Plus 105. I think plus 105.
01:14Okay. I could talk my way into that because it's going to be, what's his name on the mound today
01:20for the Royals?
01:21It's Brent that way, and then Noah Cameron's coming in after him.
01:25I have no issue with the Royals. The Royals have a horrible bullpen.
01:29Yes. Well, and Noah Cameron coming in after a start, a lefty against,
01:33and the Tigers have really turned a quarter offensively too.
01:39I don't mind. Two nothing by the time they get to the sixth inning seems realistic to me.
01:43I don't know that Kansas City is scoring at all off of Scoble.
01:48Let's be honest here, right? I mean, against left-handed pitch,
01:52listen, they can't hit right-handed pitching, much less left-handed pitching here.
01:57What do you give up? No runs against the Angels in five,
02:00two against Philadelphia as previous outing there, one run against the Athletics.
02:05I mean, you go down a list, Scoble is not likely giving up a lot of runs here in the
02:10first five innings.
02:11And to your point, how long are we really going to see him?
02:15I mean, 87 pitches against the Angels, 93 against Philly, 96 against the Athletics.
02:22I don't know that they're going to stretch him out more than five innings anyway, Tom.
02:26I think that's the only spot we have is with, in the first five, with Scoble.
