00:00You can thank your lucky stars because all our queens are back, tucked, plucked, and ready to conjure up a
00:08little realness.
00:09Welcome to Ms. Mojo, and today we're counting down our picks for the most dramatic and tension-filled drag race
00:14reunion moments.
00:16Wait, is that true? It looked like you were instigating things.
00:19What did I instigate?
00:20Well, this thing between Ms. Cracker and Aquaria.
00:23It's not instigating to tell someone the truth.
00:26Number 10. Trixie Mattel vs. Acid Betty
00:29It's not the first time an audience Q&A threatened to go left.
00:32Season 8's Queens took questions from the audience during the live finale and reunion,
00:36and one of the questions came from Season 7's Trixie Mattel.
00:39The question is, in Untucked, did you or did you not come for me?
00:47Betty had indeed thrown shade at Trixie's makeup in an Untucked earlier in the season.
00:52Look at that ugly makeup, let's be honest. She is ugly.
00:55And I never really met Drey Pinsen, I got along with her before.
00:59That nose contour is atrocious.
01:01Trixie's shady and playfully threatening question led to a moment that had the audience cheering for some queen-on-queen
01:07violence.
01:07I will take my answer after the show in the parking lot.
01:14Do we think there was a brawl out in the parking lot after the show?
01:17Of course not.
01:18But it was a reminder that the art of drag is up for interpretation, and not everyone's approach is the
01:23same.
01:24Bye.
01:25See you in the parking lot.
01:27Number 9. Heathers vs. Boogers
01:29Drag queens who think they're better than other people? Someone call TMZ!
01:34Season 3 was the popular girls vs. everyone else.
01:47What seemed to start as a fun inside joke between Raja, Manila Luzon, Delta Work, and Carmen Carrera soon fueled
01:54a rivalry that lasted most of the long and arduous third season.
01:57On the other side were Alexis Mateo, Shangela, Stacey Lane Matthews, and Yara Sofia.
02:03The controversy surrounding the Heathers vs. Boogers divide came out once more at the reunion.
02:07Why did you call this particular group of girls boogers?
02:11Because it's extreme, it's funny, it's exaggerated, as much of what drag is.
02:16Shangela and Alexis did most of the talking while the Heathers defended themselves.
02:20However, Raja's sweet gesture to finally include Stacey is almost instantly dashed when RuPaul asserts her executive powers to hereby
02:27abolish the Heathers.
02:29I want you to have this, so...
02:30Yay, I'm a Heather!
02:33Yay!
02:36That's very nice. That's very nice. I tell you what, from this moment on, there will be no more Heathers,
02:43there will be no more Boogers. We will all be referred to as Hoogers.
02:47Number 8. Cameron Michaels vs. Everyone.
02:50This girl? Who's she? That one right there. You just said... Who's she?
02:56Rarely do contestants on this show have a problem with someone who has too little personality.
03:00Judging from her unassuming personality on the show, we didn't expect Cameron Michaels of all people to have reunion beef.
03:07Almost notoriously low-key and quiet, Cameron didn't know what to think when Mohart essentially accused her of being two
03:13-faced.
03:14Oh, she played a completely different game and we don't know you at all? Or you're just completely like Vic?
03:20It wasn't really even a strategy. I was just intimidated by you guys.
03:24You guys were all, I think all of you, working as professional drag queens. I was not.
03:28Noting the contrast between what Cameron said in person and what was said online, Cameron was suddenly faced with intense
03:34skepticism from nearly all her fellow queens.
03:37Dusty Ray Bottoms even accused her of not wanting a relationship with their castmates.
03:41Why? Because the response, you wouldn't get a response from Cameron?
03:44Listen, everyone here will walk into the room and say hello to each other.
03:48Sis, how you been? I can't even turn Cameron's head when I walk into the room.
03:53The disconnect between them is even deeper than the usual reunion drama because it's about everything that wasn't said.
03:59I feel like I walk up and say hello to you guys. I feel like I say hi. I feel
04:02like I say that you look great.
04:03Sis, I love you, but you will walk clear into a room and just go...
04:08And I... you will.
04:10So it feels intentional. It feels like you don't care.
04:13Number 7. Tammy Brown vs. RuPaul
04:15Way back in 2009, before Drag Race was the juggernaut it became, the season 1 queens were already bringing enough
04:22drama to ignite a franchise.
04:24Listen, think of Drag Race. It's not easy. It's not easy.
04:27It's almost an act of treason in a male-dominated society.
04:30So we're gonna be up against a lot of criticism.
04:33Well, why feed into that negativity, though? Why do we have to constantly feed into that negativity?
04:36Tammy Brown was not down with a lot of the disparaging remarks she heard on the show.
04:40When RuPaul got involved, Tammy was not willing to be psychoanalyzed and berated by the host.
04:46Instead of sitting through a talk about her inner saboteur, she casually whipped out her most iconic phrase.
04:51It's not my responsibility to make you feel good all the time.
04:54Yes, you both call me losers. And I don't see you out there walking children in nature.
04:57It took nerve to talk to RuPaul like that, but the host powers on.
05:01That is, until Tammy calls out his bad language like any true southern lady.
05:05You forgot, Tammy. You forgot you're fabulous. Don't blame me for that.
05:09That's your f***ing responsibility.
05:11Use your mouth.
05:14Number 6. Raja O'Hara vs. Evie Oddly and Scarlet Envy
05:18Whatever you think about Drag Race's 11th season, you can't say the queens weren't ready to fight.
05:23Raja O'Hara wasn't afraid to say how she felt. Evie Oddly wasn't afraid to defend herself.
05:28Do you stand by those opinions?
05:30Well, I will say that in the moment, that's just what, you know, that's what I was thinking.
05:35That's what I said. I said what I said.
05:38You know, I felt like that was just, like, light reads. It wasn't anything, like...
05:42I disagree with you, girl.
05:44The general consensus seemed to be that Raja's deeply personal comments about Evie went far beyond your standard Drag Race
05:50shade.
05:50It's clear she had a lot of apologies to make.
05:53Evie confronted her not with anger, but with pain and disappointment.
05:56The fact that I came to you and was talking about actions or things that were happening in the room,
06:01and I said it all to your face, and it was so painful to have to go back home and
06:07watch you call me ugly,
06:09watch you call me smelly, watch you call me, like, worthless, essentially, because I told you you need to focus.
06:15Whereas most reunions generate memes amid the insults and catharsis,
06:19this one is just people hashing out some deep hurts.
06:21Scarlett's retort demanding her own apology was pretty meme-worthy.
06:25Well, can I finish what I was saying?
06:27Absolutely.
06:29Because you can direct it this way when you're done with Evie.
06:33Number 5. The Vixen vs. RuPaul and Eureka O'Hara
06:37The Vixen's season-long rivalry with Eureka O'Hara was fueled by many things,
06:41but by Eureka's own admission, she purposefully instigated arguments.
06:45You poked at me until you got me upset enough to make you look like the victim.
06:50No, my decision was never to attack you.
06:52No, that's what happened.
06:53No, I never said attack, darling.
06:54There's a camera. That's what happened.
06:56There is a camera, and I never said attack.
06:58You said it from your mouth.
07:00I said it.
07:01No, you said it.
07:02You said testing.
07:03This is exactly what I said. I just wanted to test her.
07:06Eureka admitted to her provocative behavior at the reunion.
07:09However, RuPaul was more critical of the Vixen's responses to these confessed attempts to provoke her,
07:14essentially blaming her for taking the bait.
07:16But that's like saying, you know, eat the cake anime.
07:18Oh, so it's, so it is my fault?
07:20You had a choice.
07:21Wait, how is it saying, how, I don't get the eat the cake anime thing at all.
07:25It's like saying, you made me do that.
07:27The moment is intense in a quiet way.
07:30After all the Vixen has said about how she might be perceived,
07:34here she is once again being talked to about her tone.
07:37Instead of hearing criticisms about not reacting appropriately,
07:40she instead thanks her fans and ends her time on Drag Race on her own terms.
07:44And now that I've done that, y'all can have a good night.
07:46Wait, wait, Vixen, wait, Vixen, can I say that?
07:47Wait, okay, what, Vixen?
07:52Number 4. Tatiana vs. Raven.
07:54You're jealous. You're insecure.
07:57No one that feels that great about themselves has to put others down the way that you do.
08:02Drag Race loves an underdog.
08:05Tatiana's unwillingness to gel with her competitors came from what she felt was a very real feeling of skepticism of
08:10her and her talents as a drag queen.
08:12She finally got her chance to respond to the vicious insults Raven lobbed behind her back in the confessionals.
08:17Until the point that I'm not done talking yet, you will speak when I'm done.
08:21Oh, honey.
08:22Girl, security.
08:23She has gotten everything that she wanted to say out about me.
08:25It's my turn.
08:26This was her chance to rip into someone who took every opportunity to rip into her for the entertainment of
08:32the viewers.
08:32And she did not disappoint.
08:34Raven looks cool and collected on the outside.
08:37But as Tatiana points out, external beauty isn't everything.
08:40You are the one that is face value.
08:41Your outside is gorgeous, Raven.
08:43But your insides are dark and nasty.
08:45And I don't like you.
08:46Number 3.
08:47Daya Betty vs. Jasmine Kennedy
08:49The vote was in.
08:50Daya Betty was the villain of the season.
08:53No one knew that better than Jasmine Kennedy,
08:55who often found herself on the receiving end of Daya's blunt and often incisive criticisms.
09:00You called me an energy vampire.
09:02You were.
09:03You were.
09:04I think you were looking in the mirror when you said that.
09:06I know vampires can't see their reflections.
09:08But...
09:08Jasmine's problem wasn't necessarily the critiques.
09:11It was how Daya's comments often went beyond the drag and veered into the personal.
09:15The heat of the competition could only explain so much.
09:18And Jasmine was ready to give her several pieces of her mind.
09:21I never said I was the voice.
09:22I was saying that's how I felt.
09:24You can play back any clip.
09:25You made it so you were the voice, girl.
09:26We didn't even have an option to be anybody else.
09:28You can play back any clip.
09:30And it's always me saying it is my opinion.
09:33And it is not...
09:34No offense, then your opinion.
09:35Yeah.
09:35A calm, rational, and diplomatic discussion about accountability ensued.
09:39For a brief moment, the cast of season 14 was giving us a taste of classic drag race when it
09:44comes to drama.
09:45You've reached out to me before our gig in Chicago.
09:48I gave you a call.
09:49And guess who didn't f***ing answer?
09:51You.
09:51So I don't want to hear it, okay, girl?
09:52Oh, we're going to go there for the one f***ing time.
09:54Don't want to hear it.
09:54Sit down.
09:55Number two.
09:56Valentina versus Pheromone.
09:58Alexis Michelle, Aja, and Shea Coulee.
10:00I dedicate this prize to my mother.
10:04She taught me to always be kind and forgiving.
10:07So thank you to her.
10:09Without her, I wouldn't even be congenial.
10:11What?
10:14Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, no, no, no.
10:17Congenial?
10:18I don't want to be the one, but I'm going to be the one.
10:21For a season dubbed RuPaul's Best Friend Race by conflict-starved fans,
10:25the reunion was one of the better ones in terms of tense interactions.
10:29Valentina's passionate fans had harassed many of her castmates.
10:32Her silence about this led to Shea Coulee calling her bluff
10:35about how much attention she pays to social media.
10:38I kind of just love to live my everyday life,
10:40and I don't really like to be involved in what people think or what people are saying.
10:43Girl, you could say that you're not on social media,
10:45but when we were in Montreal, you were on that phone,
10:48checking every like, every follow, every single thing.
10:50Whether you were reading the comments verbatim or not,
10:52you knew what was going on.
10:54Things boiled over once again once Valentina was announced as Miss Congeniality,
10:58with Faramon accusing Valentina of cutting her as a friend as soon as the show ended.
11:02I respect you and love you.
11:04You don't love me.
11:06I was a real friend to you.
11:08You would not have just dropped me.
11:10You didn't think...
11:11Faramon, if you want a friendship, text me.
11:12Call me.
11:13Let's talk about it.
11:13I have texted you.
11:14You ignore my text.
11:16Now this was worth waiting an entire season.
11:18Aja led the charge for the award to be renamed Fan Favorite instead.
11:22Like, you have a lot of fans, and your fans love you.
11:24But is it fan favorite or is it congeniality?
11:27If it's fan favorite, then I guess she deserves it.

11:57Number 1.
11:58Asia O'Hara vs. RuPaul
11:59While this one started as a result of the Vixen's dramatic mid-reunion walkout,
12:04things ended up spiraling out of control and creating a whole other argument.
12:08I don't agree with everything that the Vixen says or does,
12:11but I understand where it comes from and I think...
12:16Um...
12:17The Vixen seems to me like a person that's crying out for help.
12:20Asia O'Hara was visibly shaken by her castmate's decision to leave.
12:24She began to scream to the point of tears about how the Vixens hurt,
12:28pleading with the host and her other castmates that they all should have helped her.
12:31We're not just drag queens, we're people.
12:33And now we've got one of our people outside.
12:36Here we are filming during Pride season
12:38and we let one of our sisters walk out the f***ing room
12:42because nobody wanted to f***ing help her.
12:44And we're the first people, we are the first people
12:47to say that people are treating us right.
12:49Both she and the host are making arguments for compassion,
12:52but have wildly different ways to apply it to the Vixen situation.
12:56The impassioned back and forth between Asia and RuPaul made a major splash.
13:00I can teach her about through my own example.
13:03What am I going to go back and follow her and go say,
13:06come here, let me tell you something.
13:07Not at this moment.
13:08Can you explain to someone who cannot be spoken to?
13:12Do you wish Drag Race would go back to the old reunion format?
13:15Tell us in the comments.
