Watch as a homeowner springs into action after a bush suddenly catches fire in the backyard.

Andrew Gareri captured the dramatic incident in Ontario, Canada.

The video shows smoke rapidly pouring from a burning bush as flames begin to spread through the vegetation. Realising the danger, the homeowner quickly grabs a garden hose and rushes toward the fire.

He immediately begins spraying water onto the flames, working to bring the blaze under control before it can spread further. The quick response helps contain the fire, preventing what could have become a much larger incident.

The dramatic footage was shared online.
