00:00Who wears short shorts? Men wear short shorts, and they're wearing them to the office. There is
00:05a growing trend of men ditching their suits, ditching their slacks, and showing up to the
00:10office in shorts. From Wall Street to Main Street, the business casual look has gotten a lot more
00:16casual. And the numbers suggest this trend isn't going away. A new survey found 68% of workers
00:22think men wearing shorts to the office is perfectly acceptable, nearly double the number
00:27from just about 10 years ago. And when the temperature outside feels like you're sitting
00:32in Satan's backyard, it's kind of hard to argue with a little extra airflow, but not everybody
00:36is thrilled. In Japan, the trend has sparked complaints about what is being called, are
00:42you ready? Leg hair harassment, or sunihara, with some women saying they should not have
00:48to stare at their co-workers' hairy calves all day. Meanwhile, here in the U.S., men are embracing
00:53the look, with fashion experts saying, if you're going to wear shorts to the office,
00:56keep them tailored, keep them knee-length, and save those gym shorts for the weekend.
01:01So the question is, are office shorts the future of business casual,
01:05or should those legs stay under wraps until at least happy hour?
