Learn how to insert a date Picker in Excel without add ins.

To insert a date picker in Excel without add-ins, you can use Excel's built-in Data Validation feature. To create a date picker in Excel without any add-in, go to the cell where you want the date, click on the Data tab, select Data Validation, and choose Date under the Allow section. This method allows you to make a date picker in Excel by setting a date range for the user to select from. If you are using Excel 365, it does not come with a built-in date picker, but you can still create a date drop-down in Excel using Data Validation. This approach lets you have an Excel date picker without needing VBA or any add-ins, making it simple and accessible.

00:00Assigning a date picker or a pop-up calendar has never been so easy.
00:04This is how I do it.
00:05First, you're going to select the cell where you want to assign the date calendar to.
00:08After that, under Home, you're going to go pull the pulldown on General.
00:13And instead of General, you're going to select Short Date.
00:15And that's it.
00:16If you double-click the cell where you have just assigned the cell formatting to be a short date,
00:20and you come up with a mini calendar.
00:21And if you click on this, you'll go to Month.
00:23And if you click on the Year, you'll go to Years.
