Pagkatapos ng paglabas ng isang AI-generated video ng isang Chinese media outlet na naglarawan sa mga Pilipino bilang mga unggoy, panibagong umano’y pangha-harass naman ang iniulat ng Armed Forces of the Philippines na kinasasangkutan ng China Coast Guard. Ayon sa AFP, pinaghahampas umano ng kahoy na baton ng mga tauhan ng China Coast Guard ang ilang sundalong Pilipino matapos umanong magpaikot-ikot sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal.
Nitong July 24 naman, muling gumamit ng water cannon ang CCG laban sa mga barko ng Pilipinas habang nagsasagawa ng operasyon ang Philippine Coast Guard at Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources sa Bajo de Masinloc.
