Even though Unbothered's 2022 Glow Up is but a memory, we still want to share some of the great conversations that were held. Baby Tate and Cleotrapa take to the stage with moderator Maiya Carmichael to let us know what they're manifesting as well as what pushes them to be "pedi".

00:00Um, right now, I am manifesting world domination.
00:03I am manifesting, um...
00:06I'm manifesting for everybody to love my music
00:09the way that I love it.
00:10Um, I'm manifesting for gas prices to go down.
00:13Mmm. Um...
00:15An angel. True angel.
00:18So, you know, we're here to talk about some of the lyrics
00:20in Baby Tate's song that help her manifest
00:22her most pettiest energy, and we love that for her.
00:25So, without further ado, singer, songwriter, actress,
00:28big baddie with a natural body...
00:31Baby Tate!
00:40How you feeling?
00:43Yes!
00:44Woo! The fan fell over, that's how you know!
00:49Yes!
00:50And we cannot forget our NYC mommy
00:54that has us dying at her IG analysis
00:57of our dumb bitch behavior,
00:59and we'll be gracing the stage later tonight, okay?
01:03Can we give it up for Clea Trapper?
01:16Yes! You guys look great already!
01:19Yes!
01:20I'm so glad you guys are joining me today.
01:22Welcome to you!
01:22Thank you so much.
01:24As you can see, we'll be having this conversation
01:26while the girls get their nails did, okay?
01:28So, let's hop into it.
01:30Okay.
01:31So, ladies, I feel like your nails are an expression
01:34and an extension of oneself.
01:36So, Baby Tate, how do your nails reflect you?
01:39My nails are like, first of all, these hands, it's like a direct, you know, just energy off of me.
01:48So, my nails are how I really just, like, give the girls what the girls need.
01:55And a lot of times people don't like it, but I feel like your nails, that's like what you see
02:01every day.
02:01You work with your hands, you're always going to be using your hands,
02:05whether it's in conversation, whether you're cooking, putting your clothes on, doing whatever.
02:10So, when you look down at your hands, like, they have to smile back up at you, you know?
02:16Yeah.
02:16So, for me, I just like to be cute, fun, quirky, different, super cute, kawaii.
02:24And, yeah, that's why I have my amazing nail tech.
02:27Shout out to Meg, Pink's artist.
02:29Give it up.
02:31And Clea Trapper, what about you?
02:33I agree.
02:35Your nails definitely show, you know, your personality, the type of female you are.
02:40The type of person you are.
02:42Feel me?
02:42Bad bitch.
02:44You know, long nails.
02:45Lots of charms, you feel me?
02:47Source, design, all of that.
02:49But, you know, the simple girls will get the short.
02:52And that's cute, too, but it definitely shows the type of bitch you are.
02:56Yeah.
02:58I love that.
02:59So, Baby Tay, what puts you in your pettiest energy?
03:03Because I know everybody on this stage right now is a tourist.
03:06So, is it that tourist energy that got you?
03:08Hello, where y'all at?
03:09Hey, gang, gang, gang, gang.
03:12Is that what makes you just real petty?
03:14You know, I would blame it on me being a tourist, but I really feel like it's a part of
03:22me just, like, not ever wanting to allow people to try me.
03:26You know, because in this world, especially as a woman and a black woman, people are going to want to
03:34try you and try to put you down and try to make you question yourself.
03:38And in those moments where I'm petty, it's actually just me, like, coming back like, oh, you thought she was
03:44going to be able to do this and watch this.
03:46You thought that you could be funny?
03:48I'm about to be hilarious.
03:50So, I don't know if it's a tourist thing, but I will say I do know a lot of petty
03:55people and I do know a lot of petty tourists.
03:59So, I don't know.
04:01It's our steeds.
04:02We got to.
04:04Because if you try me, I'm going to try harder.
04:05Exactly.
04:06And if at first you don't succeed, I'm going to try again.
04:10And Clea Traver, what about you?
04:12What puts you in your pettiest energy?
04:15Well, what makes me a little bit extra petty since I'm already petty, I guess I would say a liar.
04:21You feel me?
04:22Especially when you lie about something that I know the truth to.
04:25It's like, all right, now you're playing with me.
04:27Now it's petty mode.
04:28Activate it.
04:29You feel me?
04:30But, yeah, other than that, I'm not really a petty girl.
04:33You just got to bring me there.
04:35I know that's right.
04:36So, when you're trying to move out of that petty era into your manifestation, how do you keep yourself from
04:43sliding back?
04:44Clea Traver?
04:45From going backwards?
04:47Yeah.
04:48I mean, the money is always going to motivate me.
04:50You know there's going to be stuff that will make people look at you differently.
04:53So, you just can't react to certain things because it's just like, all right, is that going to affect me
04:57in the long run?
04:58Could affect the bag.
04:59Feel what I'm saying?
05:00So, that's always like, all right, that's not me no more.
05:03I'm a different girl.
05:05All right.
05:05Baby Tay?
05:07I believe in karma.
05:09So, you know, a lot of times on my spiritual journey, I've gotten to places where I feel like, is
05:15this even worth me responding to?
05:17Is this even worth me, like, putting this on my karma totem pole, you know?
05:23And a lot of times it's not.
05:25So, I think that's my biggest thing that, like, keeps me grounded in a way from just, like, doing the
05:31most petty things that I can think of.
05:34Because it's like, at the end of the day, this energy is going to come back to me in some
05:38way.
05:39Energy doesn't die, it just transfers.
05:41So, it's like, it's going to come back in some type of way.
05:44It's going boomerang.
05:45And I don't want that thing to hit me in the head too hard.
05:47You know what I'm saying?
05:48Because I went a little too crazy and I could have just chilled out.
05:50Right.
05:51So, yeah, I think that's the biggest thing that keeps me, like, balanced.
05:56Yeah.
05:56Because there are times where you do have to get a little petty, but you have to find the balance
06:00in it too.
06:01Yes.
06:01We love balance.
06:02Look at you.
06:03I'm trying to be a grown-up these days.
06:05You look a little sensei.
06:06Okay.
06:08So, how do you manifest and what does manifestation mean to you, Baby Tate?
06:13I manifest by just honestly being delusional.
06:18Manifestation starts by just, like, telling yourself things that you want to hear.
06:22You know, like, when you want somebody else, you want somebody else to tell you stuff that you want to
06:26hear.
06:26Like, ooh, you so pretty, you so this, you so that.
06:28You the baddest bitch in the world.
06:29And you have to tell yourself those things.
06:31Even if at the time you got sweatpants, hair tied, children with no makeup on, you have to tell yourself,
06:37I am this, I am that.
06:39And so, for me, manifestation is, like, it's so corny.
06:42It's a dream.
06:44A dream is a wish your heart makes.
06:46So, a manifestation is really just a wish that you, like, you are your own genie.
06:51And you tell yourself what your wish is.
06:53And you tell yourself, like, this is my life.
06:56You know, and you believe it.
06:58You wake up every morning, like, if you want to be the biggest star in the world, you wake up
07:04every morning, like, wow, I'm the biggest star in the world.
07:06I can't believe this.
07:07Like, why did God bless me with this talent to be the biggest star in the world?
07:11You know, even if nobody knows you at the time.
07:13Exactly.
07:14It's just, like, believing in yourself so fiercely to a point where it's almost delusional.
07:19But it's going to happen.
07:20Yeah.
07:21Love that.
07:22And is it really delusion if I believe it?
07:24Absolutely not.
07:25Like, everybody else is crazy.
07:27I'm not crazy.
07:27Exactly.
07:28Everybody else has to catch up.
07:29Hello.
07:30The reality that you're in.
07:31Okay?
07:31We don't know.
07:32We don't know.
07:33And Clea Trapper, what about you?
07:35Well, I believe strongly on speaking things into the universe.
07:39And I just know that if I say something repeatedly, I know it's just going to come true because that's
07:45just how the universe is, especially for me.
07:47I don't know how it works for everybody else, but I know that if I'm trying to get something done
07:52or I'm trying to do something later on, that if I keep speaking it, it's going to happen.
07:59Mm-hmm.
08:00So we're going to switch over to a little segment I like to call Cleo's Corner.
08:04Okay?
08:05So we know she drags us on the social networks, okay?
08:09She's telling us which there to use.
08:11And she's explaining the dumb bitch circle to a T.
08:14I love it.
08:14I'm here for it.
08:15So I need your advice on these next topics.
08:19Cleo Trapper, can you tell me about the Atlanta dating pool?
08:23Ooh, ooh.
08:25What'd she say?
08:26The Atlanta dating pool, girl.
08:28Can you tell me about it?
08:29Oh, I never dated anybody out here.
08:33No.
08:34I'm good.
08:35My man is from New York, and I'm good off the ATL men because they're so possessive.
08:40Like, I've heard stories.
08:41And you see it in the news, too, because it gets all the way there.
08:45They like shooting niggas, like, over they bitch.
08:48And it's like, some girls think that's like, they think that's cute until now you got your side nigga shot.
08:56Like, was it really all worth it?
08:58Feel me?
08:59Like, that's fraud.
08:59I don't like that.
09:01They too crazy.
09:02Mm-mm.
09:03You got to be careful.
09:04If you want to date anybody out here, just make sure you really, really know them.
09:07Because, hmm, niggas will show you another side.
09:10Don't play with them.
09:12And Baby Tay, what about you?
09:14You know, being from here, and I think the only people that I've really dated are from Atlanta besides one
09:21that was not.
09:22And, ooh, that was a mess.
09:23But anyways, I really feel like the Atlanta dating pool, I think it really just depends on, like, who you're
09:33around.
09:33Like, what your circle is, you know, because, like, if you be in the bad places, you're going to meet
09:39the bad people.
09:40You know what I'm saying?
09:42So I try to surround myself with people that, even just as friends, like, I could see us just living
09:49life together for a long time and see you in my life for a long time.
09:53Otherwise, it's like, baby, do we even really need to go to the club together?
09:56You know, like, do we even need to really take these shots?
09:59You know?
10:00Do I need to light your hookah?
10:02I don't know.
10:02I don't know.
10:03I don't know.
10:03So, yeah, for me, I try to, like, date who I know in a way, not necessarily my friends, because
10:11I don't like fucking up my friendships.
10:12But, you know, it's like, do my friends trust you?
10:16Yeah.
10:17Would my friends date you?
10:19Okay.
10:20Even if theyβme and my friends got different tastes, but, like, you know what I'm saying?
10:23Would they be like, okay, I see what you're doing.
10:26I see what you're doing.
10:27I like it.
10:28Because if not, no.
10:29No thanks.
10:30I don't want the scammers no more.
10:31I don't live that lifestyle anymore.
10:33I retired.
10:35So, yeah.
10:36I'm trying to look for the good Christian, godly men and women in the Atlanta scene.
10:43Anybody in the audience?
10:48I am single.
10:49I am single.
10:51I'm ready to mingle.
10:53Okay.
10:53Okay.
10:54Okay.
10:55So, Baby Tay, advice on body shaming.
10:59Yeah.
11:00So, body shaming is so lame.
11:02Ew.
11:03It's, like, so 2000 and late.
11:06Because I just feel like we, as humans, come in so many different sizes, shapes, colors,
11:13shades, heights.
11:15Like, so the fact that people even think that a body is supposed to look like one thing
11:22is kind of insane.
11:24And I know we were talking about delusion earlier and how, like, that's a good thing.
11:28But that's the bad delusion.
11:29It's like, babes, there are so many different circumferences of a thigh, of a belly, of a,
11:37there are so many different, like, weights of a titty.
11:39You know what I'm saying?
11:40So, it's like, for you to think that a body is just supposed to look one way and you shaming
11:45anybody on what theirs looks like is kind of crazy.
11:49And so, for me, I really like to talk about body acceptance.
11:52I don't really like the word body positivity because I feel like, you know, when we get
11:58into the spirituality, we can get into a little bit of, like, toxic positivity.
12:02So, it's like, oh, yeah, like, everybody's body is just amazing.
12:07And it's like, no, there might be some people out there that's, like, treating their bodies
12:11terribly and, you know, not properly doing the things that they need to do.
12:17But, for me, it's body acceptance.
12:19It's like, this is my body.
12:22I accept it.
12:23And when I walk out the house, you're going to have to accept it, too, or close your eyes
12:28when I walk by.
12:29I know, that's right.
12:30So, I accept everybody else's body, too, because it's like, you feel comfortable in that.
12:35If that's what you want to do with your body, whatever the case may be, whether that's
12:39getting your titties done, getting your ass done, not getting your ass done, walking around
12:44with your titties to the motherfucking flow.
12:47You don't got no bra on.
12:48I don't care.
12:49If that's what you want to do, I'm going to accept it, and I'm going to clap for you.
12:52Go ahead.
12:52Period.
12:53It's a little...
12:54Sorry, y'all.
12:55But it's a little weird, too, when people think, oh, this is just one way to look.
12:59What world are you living in?
13:00You stepped outside?
13:01Touch grass, please.
13:03The grass is outside, and I promise that it's a little green in some places.
13:07Go outside, touch some grass, see some real bodies, because I think that in the age of
13:13social media, so many of us have just gotten lost in this Instagram lifestyle, which for
13:20some people, it's very real, but for the majority, it's not.
13:25Yeah.
13:25You know?
13:26And yeah, I just, I want everybody to love their bodies.
13:31Love the body that you're in.
13:32If you don't love it, do something that will make you love it.
13:35And you know what I'm saying?
13:36Just keep working on yourself, regardless of what your body looks like.
13:39Work on your mind.
13:40How do you feel?
13:41You know?
13:44Cleo Trapper, what about yourself?
13:46I'm not going to hold you.
13:48Take Carrie.
13:49She carries that.
13:51I was like, is she going to?
13:52But she just, she said everything.
13:54She said everything, especially that social media part.
13:56I feel like social media is playing a big part on how people think that their bodies should
14:00look.
14:01Like, that shit, it's social media.
14:04Like, that's all it is.
14:05Don't let it get to your head, because there's people out there with the same body as you.
14:10You just seeing a lot of fake shit.
14:12It's fake.
14:13And if you want that, you can get that.
14:15You can do that.
14:15For you.
14:16But you should love yourself.
14:18Love yourself, for sure.
14:19Because all of that shit, that shit is not even real.
14:22It's not even real.
14:25Amazing.
14:25So Cleo Trapper, not being able to get over a situationship or a relationship.
14:33Any advice?
14:34You smiling.
14:35It's going to be good.
14:37I mean, after you get out of something like that, I feel like the best way to get over
14:42you or something like that, because you can't say you can't get over it.
14:44It's to focus on yourself.
14:46Like, there's a lot of things that you just realize that you don't do when you're tied
14:51down to somebody or just, you know, focused on somebody else.
14:55So you should really just use that time to get yourself together.
14:59Find out more about yourself.
15:00See what you like.
15:01You know?
15:02Get to know you.
15:03Stop trying to get to know niggas all day.
15:08I feel like that was directed at somebody.
15:12Whoa.
15:12Like, at me.
15:13They ain't.
15:15Baby Tate, what about you?
15:17No, I think that's great advice.
15:20You know, a lot of people will say, the best way to get over a nigga is to get under
15:25another
15:25one.
15:25But that's like terrible advice.
15:28It's the worst advice.
15:30Like, it might work for a night.
15:32You know?
15:32You get your nut off.
15:33Hey, look.
15:35I'm not blaming you.
15:36Go ahead.
15:36Do what you gotta do, baby.
15:37But also, buy a rose.
15:40Like, they got the dual ones, too, these days.
15:42So, like, do what you need to do for yourself.
15:46Heal.
15:46I think that healing after a relationship is something that is, like, overlooked.
15:52People just feel like, oh, yeah, I'm gonna be good without that nigga.
15:55Fuck them nigga.
15:56But, like, are you good?
15:59Because it's okay to not be okay.
16:01And it's okay to just, like, chill out for a second.
16:06You know what I'm saying?
16:07Be alone.
16:08Be with your friends.
16:09Be with your family.
16:10Be with your pets.
16:11Be with yourself.
16:13Because I know a lot of times in relationships, you get so, like, codependent on, like,
16:20who this person is and who this person makes me feel like that a lot of times it's hard
16:25when you get out of it to remember who you were before.
16:28So, it's like, that's a process that you really have to take seriously before you start dating
16:33again.
16:33Like, I've been single for a while.
16:35I've been mingling, but I've been single, like, really just getting to know and to love
16:41myself in my solitude.
16:44And I'm having a great time.
16:45I'm having a grand time.
16:49Okay.
16:50One more question before we get into audience questions.
16:52So, prepare yourselves.
16:53Okay?
16:54What are you manifesting right now?
16:57Right now, I am manifesting world domination.
17:00I am manifesting, I'm manifesting for everybody to love my music the way that I love it.
17:07I'm manifesting for gas prices to go down.
17:10Mmm.
17:11Mmm.
17:12An angel.
17:13True angel.
17:14Look, and I don't even have a car.
17:17I really just want the people to be, okay?
17:19Like, look, this is not okay.
17:21Um, but yeah, I think my biggest thing that I'm manifesting right now is, like, peace and
17:27happiness.
17:28Um, I've been, like, kind of taking a break from social media and just trying to focus
17:33on, like, IRL, you know, and just, like, being happy in real life and enjoying my time.
17:40You know, I just got off tour.
17:42So, it's like, I just want to enjoy my life right now.
17:44And that's when I'm mostly manifesting.
17:46Just, like, happiness, peace.
17:49Yep.
17:50As you should be.
17:51Yeah.
17:52You deserve it.
17:53Leah Trapper, what about you?
17:55I'm manifesting the same thing.
17:57Peace and happiness.
17:58What's, what's, what's, what's money without happiness?
18:02So, it's like, I can say, you know, I'm manifesting money, I want to be rich.
18:05Da-da-da-da, but like, it's like, what's all of that if you're not truly happy, if you're
18:10not truly peace within inner peace.
18:15So, that's what I'm manifesting.
18:17Amazing.
18:18So, let's move on to audience questions.
18:20If you have a question, please come to the mic in the center of the room and state your
18:24name, followed by your question.
18:27Specifically for Tate, um, you, queen of duality, queen of switching it up, especially
18:33with these new singles that you've been dropping.
18:35Um, so, what does that mean to you?
18:37Just being flexible and basically doing everything, everywhere, all at once, all the time.
18:46Um, you know, for me, duality is being human.
18:49Um, a lot of people try to put, especially artists, like, in a box.
18:55And I think it's so bizarre to even think about a human being in that way with all the multidimensional
19:02-ness
19:02that we come with just by being born.
19:04You know, like, I'm not crying all the time.
19:07You know, when you came out as a baby, you're not crying all the time.
19:10Sometimes you're happy.
19:11Sometimes you're very upset.
19:12And, um, for me, I try to put that into my music as well.
19:17Um, and just never box myself in.
19:20Cause it's like, why would I?
19:23Like, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, period.
19:27Um, but yeah, for me, duality is being human.
19:33You know, we have the yin, the yang.
19:36You're going to have the good, the bad, the light, the dark.
19:39And it's about balancing those two and figuring out, like, where you stand in it.
19:43You know?
19:45Hello.
19:46All right.
19:47So, first of all, my name is Everything Kawai.
19:51Nice to meet everybody.
19:52Hi.
19:53Nice to meet everybody on stage as well.
19:56All right.
19:56So, first, another thing is, baby Tate, I don't know where you from, but my lab name Tate, too.
20:02So, we was on a sleigh plantation, for real.
20:05That's so funny that you say that.
20:07A lot of people think that, but Tate's my first name.
20:10That's horrible, cause it's a slave name for me.
20:12I'll be like, nah, that's my slave name.
20:14You know, Irish man on me.
20:16All right.
20:16So, um.
20:17I hate that for you.
20:17Here's my question, though.
20:19I hate it, too.
20:20Like, my daddy love my lab name.
20:22I'll be like, nigga, shut up.
20:23Like, they love that country.
20:24This country is fucked.
20:25But, all right.
20:26But, um, here's my question.
20:28When manifesting, right, you get to a point where, this is what I feel like.
20:32You get to a point where you gotta drop off the people that you love for the people that you
20:37gotta make room for to love.
20:38You know what I'm saying?
20:40So, like, you gotta get rid of your mama, your daddy, your sister to jump into your new lifestyle.
20:44Because if you don't, you stay with the old, you be with the old.
20:47So, in y'all journey, have y'all, first of all, have y'all gotten there?
20:51Have y'all dropped people that y'all love off yet?
20:53Oh, yeah.
20:54For the success?
20:55Like, for what y'all gotta do?
20:56It is what it is.
20:57There's no room in the top for you.
20:59Sorry.
20:59Some people, honestly, the colors start to show when they see you, like, going up.
21:04It bothers them.
21:05All right.
21:06And you start to realize, that's right, baby.
21:07You wasn't supposed to be here from the jump.
21:09There you go.
21:10Drop you off at the bottom.
21:11All right.
21:12So, when it's blood, did y'all just cut them off or how y'all handle the blood part?
21:15So, here's what I think.
21:18There are definitely people that cannot be with you on your journey.
21:22You know, there are people that are there for a reason, a season, and a lifetime.
21:26And some people really are just there momentarily in your life.
21:30And that's okay.
21:31That doesn't mean that the love has to be any different.
21:34That doesn't mean that you have to hate them now.
21:36But there are going to be some things that, in some places, where you can't take people.
21:41That don't necessarily mean that now, because you want to do this, you've got to cut your
21:45mama off.
21:46Like, that's not what it, that's not what it means.
21:48It's like, if your mom is being, like, if your mom is being a hater and, like, hindering you.
21:53Trying to kill you, though.
21:54Oh, okay.
21:55With a gun and a knife.
21:56Oh, he's being specific.
21:57Well, baby, maybe the mic is not for you.
22:00Maybe we need a different place for you.
22:02Is there a therapist in the house?
22:04And she bad, though.
22:05She a sanitarium.
22:06You know, sanitarium, they don't got it, baby.
22:08That's like a business therapy.
22:09Okay, it's getting personal.
22:10It's getting personal.
22:11But, um, no, I think, look.
22:14I appreciate it.
22:15I know what to do.
22:16I just thought, like, somebody who had more than me would be able to tell me how to do it.
22:20Look, look, look.
22:21I know how to do it.
22:21Here's the advice that I can give to you.
22:24The people that are not adding to your life and benefiting you, your spirit, your soul,
22:31like, how you feel inside, it don't matter who they are.
22:35They don't need to be in your life.
22:38It could be your mom.
22:40No, you say that.
22:42Hey, Kate.
22:43Hey, Clea Chapa.
22:45I'm Skye.
22:46Hi.
22:46I'm originally from Texas, but I stay out here in Atlanta.
22:48It's a little bit short.
22:49I mean, tall.
22:50Anyway, um, I've been out here for about six years.
22:54I went to Clark.
22:55Shout out to Clark Atlanta if y'all in the building.
22:57Yeah.
22:58So, um, my question is geared towards more about artistry.
23:02Both of y'all are, like, totally okay with answering.
23:05But, um, I've been doing music.
23:07Just started taking it seriously this year.
23:09And, you know, Atlanta is, like, everybody, you turn around, they do the same thing.
23:13They look the same.
23:14Like, what is that one thing?
23:17Or, you know, even where you're from, too.
23:18What is that one thing that you feel like differentiates you from everybody who's in the industry?
23:23And then how do you stay true to that within yourself when you're trying to be marketable to people outside
23:29of where you're from?
23:30So, like, you know, staying true to you, but also taking it to the next level so that you're likable.
23:36Get what I'm saying?
23:37Yeah.
23:39So, for me, I think that because I started this journey, like, a while ago, I've been putting music out.
23:48If you know me, you know I've been in this Atlanta scene for a long periodically time now.
23:54And I think that throughout this journey, I've been able to stay myself because people accepted me as who I
24:02was.
24:02And I think you underestimate how much people will accept you for who you are.
24:08You don't have to appeal to everyone because everybody's not for everyone.
24:13But the people that are for you and that relate will find you.
24:18So, that's, yeah.
24:20They're going to find you.
24:21So, your tribe will find you.
24:23And just continue being true to yourself.
24:26Don't, like, bend to the box.
24:29That's what they want you to do.
24:30They want you to bend and get inside that box.
24:32But you make your own rules, your own packaging.
24:35So, yeah.
24:36Just do you.
24:38Amazing advice.
24:39We have time.
24:40For one more question.
24:43I'm sorry, y'all.
24:45First off, I just want to say both of y'all are beautiful and amazing.
24:48And I'm so happy to see y'all in person.
24:51My question is for Baby Tate.
24:54With a song like What's Love and Slut Him Out, what can we expect for the next project?
25:00That's a great question.
25:02So, the next project is actually called Manny Petty, which is why we're doing this.
25:09But, yeah, it's very much so about duality.
25:12So, in that single with What's Love and Slut Him Out, those are two completely different topics,
25:19two completely different genres.
25:21It's going to be half R&B, half rap.
25:23And, you know, as you can tell in What's Love, it's like about love.
25:28And Slut Him Out is very much so about lust.
25:31And so, it's going to be, you know, like opposing, you know, vibes on the project.
25:37And one side is going to be about that positive and getting rid of the ego and manifestation.
25:44And the other side is going to be getting down and dirty and putting the pedicure on motherfucking text.
25:48Yeah.
25:48Yeah.
25:49Okay.
25:49Yeah.
25:50Okay.
25:51Thank you so much.
25:52Well, thank you so much, Baby Tate and Cleo Trapper for joining us today on the stage and at the
25:58Glow Up.
26:01Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, Josh.
26:06Hi, the one more.
26:08Hi, the one more.
26:09Okay, go ahead, Baby.
26:11I love both of y'all.
26:12Say your name.
26:12It's Sheikah.
26:14But the question was about how do you guys feel about the discrimination against young women and their natural hair?
26:22See, it was a good question.
26:24That was a good question.
26:26So, you want to take that one?
26:28I love my hair and I love being black.
26:30I don't give a fuck what nobody got to say.
26:33It's just I feel like a wig is more convenient, you know?
26:39I don't feel like waking up every morning and having to do my hair, but my hair is beautiful.
26:42Your hair is beautiful.
26:43Black is beautiful.
26:45Bitches be hatin'.
26:46And they pray.
26:48What's up?
26:50Yeah, look.
26:51First of all, shout out to the fact it's Juneteenth today.
26:54I see so many beautiful black people in the building.
26:56All right, all right.
26:57Um, but yeah, I think natural hair is just that.
27:04It's natural.
27:05Like, it's normal.
27:07So, um, the discrimination kind of doesn't make sense for me.
27:13Um, I love my afro.
27:15Child, I need a trim, but I love it, okay?
27:17Like, I absolutely adore my hair.
27:21Um, and I believe that all, all curled textures and all types of hair are beautiful.
27:27So, for me, I believe that more, more black women especially should embrace our natural hair.
27:34That don't mean you gotta walk around with an afro every day.
27:36You could put a wig on if you want to.
27:37You could put a little braid in if you need to.
27:40Um, and that's the beautiful, that's the beautiful thing about our hair is that it can be so multidimensional.
27:46Do so many things.
27:47You could have, you know, some braids with some bees like you.
27:50You could have a little, um, a little frontal like me.
27:53You know what I'm saying?
27:53Like, you can do anything and still be so gorgeous.
27:56So, yeah.
27:57Fuck discrimination against natural hair.
27:59Like, ew.
28:00That don't even make no sense for real.
28:02See, people is fucking up.
28:04Y'all had this social media shit.
28:05Yeah.
28:05That's really what it is.
28:06I promise it's beautiful.
28:09Well, thank you ladies again so much for sharing your time with us.
28:13You've been great.
28:13You've been amazing.
28:15Okay?
28:15And if anybody in the audience feel like your manicure is popping, post it on Instagram.
28:20Tag Cleoprappa, clap, tag Baby Tate, tag Unbothered, and you could be reposted.
