00:12My brow journey has been a long one.
00:15Trying to remember to keep your eyebrows as sisters
00:18or cousins, and sometimes mine don't even look related.

00:25Ombre Powder Brows is a little newer to the market.
00:28It's lighter in the front, and it gradually gets darker
00:30towards the tails.
00:32This allows the brows to look super natural.
00:34I'm very excited.
00:35I think excitement and nervousness go hand in hand.
00:38So Celeste, what are you looking to achieve
00:40with your brows today?
00:41I want them to be more defined and to fill them in,
00:44but I do want to keep it soft and natural for every day.
00:48No, that sounds perfect.
00:49What I'm seeing is that you do have some sparseness
00:51towards the end.
00:52We are going to add a little bit of that pixelation
00:54just to give it that light-filled and soft look.
00:57And then that'll gradually get darker towards the tails.
01:00A typical procedure can take anywhere from two to three
01:04and a half hours.
01:05The reason why it's such a range for me specifically
01:07is that I'm a really particular artist.
01:10I have a really high standard for myself,
01:12and I want to make sure that I'm really happy with the work,
01:15you're extremely happy with the work,
01:16you're feeling great, I'm feeling great,
01:18and the brows come out amazing.
01:20First, we clean the skin with an alcohol prep pad.
01:23This allows the skin to be nice and hygienic.
01:25Then I'll ask my client to hold the other end of the string.
01:29I'll run this pigmented wax pencil on top,
01:33and this will allow the string to be nice and dark
01:35to create the fine lines to create the brow shape.
01:40Next, I will apply a sticker ruler on the client's forehead.
01:45This allows me to check that the brows are nice and even.
01:47I will draw my lines on.
01:50I will find the center point of the face first,
01:53and then use the string to identify where the tops
01:57and bottoms of the brows will be.
02:07Once the client approves the shape, I start with an outline.
02:11This gives me a very thin stencil to then know
02:15exactly where I need to fill in that ombre powder shading.
02:19After the skin is a little bit open,
02:22I then apply the numbing cream.
02:24We sit for about 10 minutes,
02:25and then I'll get started on one side of the face.
02:28At this point, I'll start with one pass on each brow.
02:34I start with the tail where it's darkest,
02:36and I work my way inward towards the fronts of the brows.
02:47I definitely feel like an artist.
02:49There is a science to it, but it's also important to understand
02:53how a woman likes to feel on the inside
02:56and be able to express that and work with her
02:59to achieve her desired look.

03:23The healing process can be a little bit scary,
03:25but just know that if you trust the aftercare process,
03:29you're going to be in great shape.
03:30I ask my clients to apply the ointment that I provide them
03:34two to three times a day until the brows have fully healed.
03:37I was shocked, very surprised, and very pleased.
03:42I love my eyebrows.
03:44I was a little nervous I was going to walk out looking very extreme,
03:47like I had very bold eyebrows, but that's definitely not the case.
03:51I love them now, and I know I'll love them even more when they start to fade.
03:56And definitely a confidence booster.
